  1. I can't believe I'm reading this! This is EXACTLY what's been happening with me since 4th August; monies have been going into the account and yet this months direct debits and standing orders have been unpaid and I can't use the account... Major nightmare...
  2. This purely for the sound altho a straight 8 would be even better; almost non existant in europe.
  3. web search see link below; it's just old school but good school advice. Yer. http://www.kfackler.com/gtuf/two_stroke_engine_tips.pdf
  4. Tried the 6100 the other day; VERY nice saw; you can just tell it won't be temperamental - totally solid and energetic in the cut.
  5. Note the brand of hedgecutter they are using
  6. that satisfies impatient users but reduces engine longevity. Just search for 2-stroke warm up and get converted.
  7. Avoid Natwest at all costs! In 6 months they lost 3 cheques and shut down my account after Tesco Pay at Pump stuffed all my chip and pin cards as per RBS and NatWest card users hit by petrol station glitch - Telegraph
  8. Have you binned the spark arrestors?
  9. Flip Flops. Made ethically in PRC, Bangladesh etc.
  10. Echo (Kioritz) engines - like a lot of warming up and a lot of running in. It's a sign of the thermal characterisitcs of the cylinder material and in Kioritz' case it's as good as it gets. Got a 600, can't wait to get a 620
  11. supremely good point
  12. I spent flippin ages going through this conundrum. Best track base and head setup in my research was Terex 125 (12 ton) excavator (only 1 inch over zero swing) with enough hydraulic power to run a keto 100. Best setup in respect of the bottom line too. We looked at excavators over and over and over, no kidding. Getting real flow info out of them was hard enough; Kellands showed us a flow meter on the 125 to prove and factory could tweak for more. Deutz engine in it is a gem. This is as small as you want to go really:
  13. no idea but you could buy a machine from richard court for less money and hassle than putting a new-ish stroker on a digger. Granted the excavator will be more reliable but overall less capable over a spectrum of conditions. Need some decent mods to the undercarriage of a crawler for durability etc.
  14. A stroke head is never going to do 50t / day in early thinnings; roller head only if that's the vol wanted. What purpose built machine?
  15. Cutting mostly what?!
  16. Base machine?
  17. Nokka P400RS Forestry Timber Processor and Timber Crane | eBay Please bid likewise on this; sky's the limit.
  18. 6 weeks is definately not acceptable - agreed. 1 week, max 2 I reckon otherwise loan saw. I've taken 4 saws in there at 10am, all been tuned by 12 noon after a quick trip into exeter centre. There's a whole lot more to service than the price, and sometimes if you can overlook the bitter and twisted salesman the deal works out better in the long run. My particular admiration for radmore and tucker is due to them being (or should I say employing) the best 2-stroke tuner in the south-west. They know how to PDI a saw properly; 9 out of 10 chainsaw shops don't. They must hate autotune saws tho - then said employee can't work his magic. Another reason I'm sticking with Echo and Dolmar.
  19. someone snap his hand off, hardwood is a bargain!
  20. not in my experience.
  21. BGU firewood processor, ssm 250z comp, forestry, tree surgery, logs. | eBay
  22. loading shovel and tub grinder lol
