    How did you end up with that motor in there?! Did you put it in? Connected up oil pressure gauge today; fantastic pressure cold and hot so warning light is telling porkies. Can't tell you what a relief that is.

    Sorry, I'd assumed submersible altho the Rule will run either submerged or with pickup hose altho the latter obviously reduces head considerably. The continuous duty motor is a good thing and it is safe to run dry. One downside - no switch in the cable.

    Tis a Rule 280. Got it from Marine Bazaar, Plymouth. Good flow rate and better quality than the ebay / pirtek ones. £45. Got the yellow hose from them too.
