  1. Sykes-Pickavant Ltd until recently owned by Facom, now independant again. King Dick Tools
  2. I think Shavey on here might be able to help; he knows Solo gear
  3. Children returning to school, that's why.. Poor kids who don't get summer holidays like we used to. 1976
  4. Dolmar 115 But I dislike the outboard clutch (pain getting it all off smoothly) and inside chain tensioner. Light and fast with no menopausal brain inside it, starts, cuts, stops.
  5. R&T are the best PDI'ers out there carb properly setup by Kevin in the workshop
  6. Big believer in PDI here, but not all dealers do it properly...
  7. Not a fan of Carbon bike frames, not exactly repairable compared to steel or alleluia. Grind a carbon bb over some rock, bye bye frame :ciao:
  8. Can you recommend a cordless gun?
  9. I am not an over-greaser! I use Morris K2EP Red in the harvester and forwarder; should use the black stuff in pins and bushes so I put plenty in the crane; bonus of it being red is you can see where you've been. I grease up every friday; some do it daily - I think that is over-greasing... thus 1 tube/week ish...
  10. There are a few kicking around; also 1390s but the latter seems quite a bit of horsepower down - is this so? They all seem to have front loaders on them and I don't want or need a front loader! like so: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/David-brown-1490-turbo-tractor-with-loader-4wd-/171905375842?hash=item28065bde62
  11. Hagglunds yes; 206 I think...
  12. [ame] [/ame]
  13. Well here you go; re-motored with the venerable Toyota 4.2 turbo straight six diesel (LC) so sounds beautiful! Mad fast but won't carry much or cope with brash... Crikey it moves; easy 40mph.
  14. Landmec at Ivybridge - sad that place closed, big site they had..
  15. Opposite experience; Tanaka parts just not interested, Echo on the ball (recently). Dealers more than 50% of the experience that said.
  16. Anyone got one? [ame] [/ame]
  17. First thin. Mega hairy so brashed first.
  18. Eventually Apple will go pear shaped...
  19. I quite fancy a 1490 2wd - you'd recommend then?
