  1. Look to do exchange with our Greenmech safe track 220. Done 650 hrs small bit of contracting and the rest used on training courses. It's to bit for what we use it for . Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Pre-requisites for course: Unit 201 (CS30.1) Unit 202 (CS30.2) Unit 203 (CS31) Unit 206 (CS38 – Tree climbing) Unit 306 (CS38 – Aerial rescue) Unit 308 is compulsory if you intend to use top handled saws All equipment and safety clothing (PPE) can be provided for candidates as required, simply contact us to arrange this.   10. I went for nice simple ! Only problem we run 2 company and needed to but them both on the landrover
  11. I done the fisa instructor course and was not impressed one bit! I know a lot of instructors that have went for it and did not get through the assessment process! I think this was decided before they turned up for the fisa instructors course. There is Windblow refresher and site supervisor course coming on line now! Tom is correct there system was not looked at in detail especially for the smaller contractor. At the start of the process fca had a say what fisa was going to be about but there was massive disagreements and fca were black balled! It's a shame the fisa idea could of made the industry a safer place to work! If the you look at the accident records I think that won't be the case!
  12. I think the cut off date was 2001 to get your Centre page from your blue book in. The problem is NPTC would have a record of you doing the assessment. People i know normally will have to do there assessment again.Would Advise get a 1-2 days refresher training as a lot of things have changed in the assessment...
  13. Some ascenders will have hole behind the cams to put small karabiner behind to stop cam coming off
  14. Hw training is running a Cs38 next week!!!
  15. Hi there, Can I ask on the course how much practical time there was.? Ie using chainsaw ,,climbing??
