  2. I have 4years experience, been climbing for 2years. Currently work as a second climber within a 2man team. Currently looking for new work as we only work 3days. Have good selection of tickets, just thinking out loud and throwing some ideas around at the moment

  5. We did that, but with a cherry lump into the back of our old hilux. Cant find pictures but heres the video of us unloading it! We just tied one end of the rope to the lump and another to a bigger lump on the ground and just drove forward. Was a big old piece!   6. Dont forget the vapour from petrol is flamable. Use diesel as its a much slower burner. Glad your still with us mate, sounded nasty!
  7. Same here. Still known to get singed eyebrows and arm hair every now and again though
  8. If its just a couple cuts, and they made me a nice cup of tea throughout the day, then i wouldnt charge extra. If its alot more work, or they have been a PITA of a customer, then anything from £40 upwards.
  9. I cant be doing with anything smaller than a ms341 or 361. Hate the 260.

  12. If its registered as agri, then you get free road tax. You still have to display a tax disc, but its free. I dont know about motorway useage.

  15. Dig deep and buy a stihl ms200t They go for silly money on ebay, go to a dealer if i were you. You should be asked to show proof of having cs39 to be able to buy a top handle. But i never have been so dont worry about it.

  18. Really depends on what job were doing. Hedge trimming all day, or felling, can use atleast 5litres. But then little take downs might only use 2litres.

  23. Not free climbed outside of work since i was a kid really, was always climbing them as a youngster though, and building tree houses. Took a walk in an old woodland i used to play "man hunt" in as a kid the otherday and my tree house is still there nearly 10years on I often free climb at work though, to install my anchor point or to install a pulling line. I like it when you install a pulling line then just slide back down the pulling line to the ground
