  1. Heavy, and the chain tensioner is in a funny place and with a long bar on its a PITA to try and set it right. Its never missed a beat mind, and has logged some big timber. Theres just something about an 660, when you use one nothing else comes close.
  2. Im not a fan, just been replaced with a 660. Think my boss is putting the makita on ebay tonight or tomorrow.
  3. Its the biggest one they do, cant remember the numbers.
  4. Was there today and there were dogs there, so id say yes its ok to take one!
  5. I feel it wasnt worth me going today, i shant be going again. Show seemed smaller than usual, maybe that was just me. Food was a definate issue, i dont mind paying good money for food, but queing forever isnt for me. Surley you can have a burger van there that can knock up a burger in 2mins along side the fancy food tent? Parking seemed a different set up to previous years, it was fair walk from parking to the actual show site. Took us around an hour to see everything then we left to get food else where and head home. Also some of the dealers wernt very useful, kept passing you from collegue to collegue, but i guess that falls with invidual traders rather than the aa. Dont mean to heavily criticise the show, but hopefully by putting it all out there the aa can try and improve things
  6. I would suggest taking your own food lol we left early and got food else where.
  7. Hi Jon, afraid i wasnt very impressed with the show this year. But my boss bought himself a new saw and george carr where the cheapest.
  8. Usually best not to jump out, just brace and go for a ride.
  9. Probably, but im not to keen on sawdust between the toes.
  10. Thanks to Rupe who did it for me, have sent it off now so will wait to here back if its of any use to the designer
  11. These are pretty good in the warm, marks and sparks special i think.
  12. Trying to get some custom graphics made for my motocross bike, and a logo i want to include is currently in JPEG and the only formats the designer can use them in is AI, EPS or PDF. So firstly can you convert such files, and if you can could someone do it for me? Ive tried contacting the logo owner to see if he has it is in other formats but hes not got back to me. Cheers in advance
  13. Our landy at work has been back 3times since it was bought new in jan, and its back in tomorrow for a new transfer box, only done 4000miles lol
  14. Would you not be better getting a truck of your own rob, instead of using your dads all the time? Then you dont have to worry about changing the back around all the time, it can just be set up for tree work, and stay like it.
  15. Double pay is saturdays, triple pay for sundays
  16. Il give you £200 for the two jon and you can have my 361 for the price you offered
  17. Where to start.. lol Anyway, for the last time, sell your car and buy a tipper! lol
  18. My first year doing logs i processed about 20t of oak and ash by hand, thought it was great when i sold it all and had the money in my pocket. But my wrists, elbows and shoulders all took a pasting from doing it. They still give me trouble now, so now i avoid splitting by hand at all costs, do the odd bit here and there but try not to if i can help it. Was going to buy a splitter to process the wood i have atm, but tbh firewood is such a balls ache im just going to sell it as cord now. So anybody in somerset looking for approx 10t of oak thats been down 3years get in touch.
  19. Scorching today, ringing up a big beech tree, and shifting the timber. Had to stick the shorts on. Betty swallocks!
