  8. Well said. The chaps obviously happy using it so leave him be. I know of a chap in Oz who uses an old fire hose for a strop.
  9. Yes, try it, you may have gunked up the carb and stuff with oil in which case it wont start and will require a strip down and clean. But try it, with any luck it will just fire up after abit of persuasion
  10. Yes, should be ok. So when it ran out, what did you fill it up with?
  11. Yes. What did you do previously, im concerned that maybe you have put straight petrol through the saw?
  12. You need, petrol, and 2stroke oil, you mix this at a ratio of 50:1 and put into the fuel tank of the saw. You then need to use the chain oil which you have and put in the other tank on your saw, this lubes the chain and bar.
  13. So have you mixed the chain oil and 2stroke together?
  14. My friend becky was on the bbc news just now, well she was on the phone anyway, shes the one who lives next to the motorway and has seen it all! Very very crazy night here in somerset.
  15. Yes i think so, you should be able to come off at j25. Although it will tell you on those big road signs if its shut. Failing that come off at j26 and call in for a cuppa
  16. BBC news say the motoway will be shut for 24hours! Friends have posted pics on facebook, as they can literally see it all from there window, raging fires, people trapped, not nice!!

  18. Not good, spoke to a few mates who seen it and another lives at the side of the motorway where it happened. Said they saw some awful things. I know i shouldn't speculate, but its happened next to the rugby club who were having a firework display, distraction perhaps? Thoughts with all those involved
  19. Any petrol, kero, parafin will do the job. Also watch running to fine a fuel filter, as when it gets cold the fuel might thicken slightly and not pass through the filter quick enough. We had this problem last year with our generators.
  20. Do you have any nighttime shots? wonder how well they come out and if your able to make out number plates etc.. Cheers
