  1. Do you guys process the wood the day you are delivering it to the customer then?
  2. Cheaper... POWER-MEC A12V-K 12 Ton 9HP Robin Petrol Log Splitter 27.5"/70cm Splitting Capacity Road Chassis
  3. Got you now! I'm on the market for one also, I notice some (including Balfor) offer a conveyor option, handy for filling straight into bag or trailer, but this adds a fair bit to the cost.. Riko UK :: Commercial
  4. What do you mean by 'double cut'?
  5. I thought the single cab would have more load space
  6. Whats the king cab like for room in the rear seats?
  7. Do you guys realise Steve started this thread in 2009!
  8. I think people are also tending to mistake turnover for profit. Selling £500 worth of wood per week is hugely different to receiving £500 wages per week.
  9. Without seeing pictures it seems a bit pricey. Not sure what the average return rate is, but 20 seconds sounds a bit of a wait
  10. Looks a fine grab Proper tractor too! Is it a TL or a 35 series ?
  11. Surely £1300 would come close to a new one
  12. What size are the bags? They look loosely filled?
  13. They dont believe in under selling Firewood moisture meter - woodburning stove fire wood moisture checker UK
  14. I would agree. Something like this (sold) would be far more versatile.
  15. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6SD38dlnKA&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Transit skip lorry[/ame]
  16. You have been online numerous times since I sent you the PM. I asked if you could put it on a pallet ( hardly a huge task) I never expected you to ship it, I would have arranged collection once my payment had cleared. No longer interested anyway.
  17. I havent heard from Ben since I pm'ed him to say I would take it at the price he asked. I'm presuming he got a better offer. Not great form by either seller or buyer IMO, but such is life.
  18. Ben, did you get my pm yesterday?

    prices.

If a firewood merchant can get £200/m3, I say good luck to him. After production costs are taken into account, its down to supply and demand after that. It would be a pretty rubbish businessman that wouldnt try to get the best price possible for his product.
  20. Thanks. The Strimech one looks a bit heavy, was talking to Riko salesman just now and their one seems to be what I'm after.
