  5. nice work mate, nice clean main stem. I have a big Blue Cedar to remove tomorrow, TPO has been taken off and its to dangerous to climbe so a big cherry picker has had to be ordered in as its in a difficult position. I'll try to post some pictures on compleation,

  9. I've got a crew cab Transit tipper, and i'm selling hard wood at £140 a level load and £100 for other, not as top quallity wood. None of it is fully seasond, as i ran out ages ago. Hope this helps:001_smile:

  14. I'm running a 25" on my 660 and it seems to be v good, and a 36" on my 880 which is also sweet. I was told that if you have 3 bars to choose from for your saw then the middle size is the optimuin (power to weight ratio) as i said i was told so i don't know how true this is. May be i just drempt it, i do have some crazy dream.

  17. I did the same sort of job a few months back in a caravan park. I quoted £1600 to remove 4 Pop, he nearly bit my hand off, may be should of gone around the £2000 mark. Managed to get the work done in 3 day all lowered, no crain.

    I personally haven't used this system, is it any good:confused1: What about change overs does in not confuse things:confused1: I still use just the basics, which seems to be fine. Looks good, however looks arn't everything. you have to see if it has a good personality.Lol
  22. Done the course allready, however they weren't port-a-wraps we used, something different. I know they more or less work on the same principle (friction) i just wondered if there might be a certain way you had to use these ones. However i used it a couple of days ago and it worked fine.

  25. The first thing i did was to make sure i had some where to get rid of my wood chip, logs and crap. that is if i carnt sell them. there is nothing worse than having a tipper full of wood chip and having a job on the next day and having no where to tip it.
