  4. Sorry to bother you at this festive time of year:drunk: Does anyone have some top tips on keeping your Christmas Tree looking good and prolonging needle drop. Iv'e heard all sorts of stuff i.e. Spraying water, hair spray and talking to it I think the last one was a wind up:001_tongue: The misses is worried about the dog (George) on you left eating the needles. Please, please help:scared1:

  13. £30 for a 6 ft specimen. Even made my own stand out of a nice bit of timber i was gioing to chop up for logs. Nice bore cut through the middle, well proud of myself:001_tongue:

  15. It's a difficult time to be looking for work,or employing someone. I run a small company, and employ people when needed. Try the bigger companys like CTC they always have jobs going, however C/S30,31 will be required as a minimum.
  16. I totally agree. I gave my groundie some single malt last year. He invited me to his for a few drinks and asked if he should get the whisky out. He went off to get the lovley single malt i had spent my hard earned cash on. To my horror the idiot had topped it up with coke and ice, how uncouth:thumbdown: I then showed him the error of his ways, lesson learnt.

  23. Verry intresting, I'm still quite new in the Arb world and i'm learning all the time. Is that tree to dangerous to climb? Has it just affected the main stem of is there any fungi an the limbs? What will you do fell it? Sorry if these are obvious to some of you, just trying to imput some more knowldge in my tiny little head:confused1:
  24. I took down a Indian Beem Tree abou 3 months ago, choped it up and stored it under cover. Iv'e given some to mate saying that i dont think would be seasoned enough, and it burnt lovley. Does any one know the moisture content of this tree:confused1:
  25. How do you deliver them? on the back of a tipper? do you find that you sell more logs bagged up rather than loose in the back of a tipper. How do you get them off the floor on to your truck, a guess a fork lift. sorry for all the questions just intrested.
