  10. I'd take them back and leave them there! Had my new ones for a week now and not very impressed, IMO they are heavier than Hi Flex and dont fit or feel as nice on. The do look more robust and will probably last well but maybe in relation to the cost difference with the flex - I'd pay more for comfort! Do they soften over time?
  11. we use the Carlton never had any prolems with it.

  14. The managment plan at the time was to maintain them on a 3 year rotation as "pollards" The brewery then sold the pub to a developer and it never happened.

  16. the spec was to reduce the tree height by 30% to screen the proposed development. I originally pollarded them 7/8 years ago.

  19. I know what your saying - seems such a shame to cut it into firewood though....plus there is enough timber in it to build little Joe a house!

  21. We felled a yew tree with a nice straight stem measuring 4.4m x 50cm has anyone got any ideas what do do with it or interested in buying it?

  23. I hate it when the "bread and butter" jobs take longer than expected, almost wish you'd never started them or agreed lower cost!!

  25. I used them, ok if you want to travel - couple of timewasters too, ok if your short of work.
