  1. Don't matter how fast it went I'd never own up to driving a jelly mould....
  2. Slightly ironic that our troops are now fighting to eradicate the poppy.
  3. Twenty odd years later and I'm still trimming poxy hedges, more fool me. Just taken delivery of a new HL100, hope it's as good as you reckon Andy.
  4. Twenty odd years ago when I started out on my own I'd of charged a cup of tea and left a few cards for the customer to dole out.
  5. Now I know why the bobcat driver had 'I Pray' written on his sweatshirt. Nice job Ben.
  6. It's alright SKS, bit wonky but it'll do. Don't expect a tip....
  7. Nice dog, the resemblance to my 'Ginger' is uncanny. Can't beat terriers mate, the smaller the dog the bigger the character.

  8. Perfect! Cheers for that.... I'll pop down the local chandler and see what he's got.
  9. Yeah me too, I gagged as I typed it.....
  10. Must be where he got the idea of the pasty suppository.
  11. That's the three I forgot to take off Tom. One is too many Stumpgrinder. They've been slapping speed bumps in all over the place, probably to use up money before the end of the financial year. It really annoy's me that I can't drive where I want anymore.
  12. No Andy, it's a Yorkshire terrier. Never heard of an Australian terrier before now, I'd be interested in seeing a pic of 'The Rug'....haha, like the name.

  13. I caught Plippy bangin' up liquidised ginsters in the back of the truck a while back.
  14. My third jockey wheel in as many years. You take a perfectly good road and ruin it by putting in big humps, where's the logic in it? They love putting the poxy things in round my way, so much so that I'm restricted as to what roads I can use without fear of breaking another.
  15. A painting. 'The tree of light' by Alan Vince. An oil painting of a Sioux chief looking up at this shining tree.
  16. I've always been under the impression that you should never chip back into the hedge so I've never done it. Don't you have to cart it away and leave it for a while before using it as mulch? Back to the OP, never turn any hedge work away, it's miserable, boring and back breaking work but it's still work.
  17. Good idea. I got Plippy with me tomorrow, I'll lash him to the ladder and see if it works.
  18. The lazy little delinquents should be out working.....
  19. :lol:Silky still listens to Chesney Hawkes.
  20. Seven day's a week for four months solid. Made some decent money considering I was employed.
  21. No, but I did have Carlos Fandango wheels on my Escort.
  22. Not really, as if I would. You knew who I meant though....
