  1. I agree with Ed, I,m pretty sure you would get away with twatting these divs. If it was me I would keep a 12bore out of the cabinet ready to use. Then if it happens again blow their fecking heads off. So long as you confront them at the front door so you can say you feared for you,re life. And the reason the gun was out is because you were cleaning it after a lamping session. I,m reasonably sure you would be ok, if not then what the feck just do the bird.
  2. Ah yes youre right,I,d have a go on it for a couple of hours.12" is alot I,d have to use my 11.5".
  3. I keep looking at youre avatar and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking...........And for the life of me I still cant work out what make of saw that is.
  4. With all due respect,I,d keep quiet and get on with it or go it on youre own.
  5. Got a call from the NFU a few hours ago and because I insure my truck and chipper with them they will give me an extra discount of £50..........Sounds to me like these people are clutching at straws, however I,m running out of time because one way or another I have to renew soon.If youre looking to renew soon have a haggle, after all it wont cost you nothing and could save you a few squid.
  6. Youve already had a go then.
  7. Wednesday 8.30pm I,m getting all excited,now I know why my mum plays bingo.......eyes down,look in......I wonder who,s got two fat ladies.
  8. Like ya style.I bet you earned youre wonga today.
  9. Snow here aswell. One cherry and one acacia to take down, sod it bang goes my plan to climb alternate days. Got stuck into my books instead so I meet the Jan deadline.Got as far as April 07 and could,nt find anymore receipts.I,ve only just found them after pulling the house apart, phew! panick over found them all in order month by month sorted last year and tucked away for safe keeping. Now its time for some serious tea drinking.
  10. Cor!Arbopussy sounds great. But I think some boring git has already done arbocat or something like that. Feel free to start a new thread,it will have my blessing.
  11. Its serious stuff this hunter/gatherer thing. You know what blokes are like.Haha, big kids really.
  12. Checkout Arbsquids...seriously.
  13. Dogged, its already been advertised on here as a scrapper with a f..... chassis.
  14. Sod him, I,ve suddenly developed a hankering for landys:001_tt1:£850,whats the chassis like.
  15. I have 5 grands worth of chipper insured as a trailer with the Kent branch for £88 a year....You were right to tell them you need employees insurance,Ive got away without it for years. If subbies are working for you they are under youre insurance. Knocking off £400 is a joke. They sound like traders from hell, imagine if we did that,we would end up on one of those programmes.Yes its great to see those parasites squirm, they remind me of TICKS on a dogs back, sucking a living off our backs.
  16. Ok ok, youve rumbled me I,m a closet landy freak. Now I,ve said it I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. No more hiding LRM from the wife cos I,m ashamed.......I,d better get rid of those issues with the pages stuck together....
  17. I wish it were nearer,I,d love to see some new techniques from you younger blokes. I,m so old hat with my 2 ends,2 prussiks and bowlines.
  18. Hard to say,I,ve only had my two jills Jalalabad and Taliban. A knowledgeable friend took me to a good breeder. If you do get some build a nice hutch and run in the shade as they overheat in the summer. We have two big hutchs and a large wired in area all connected with pipes. Most importantly handle them every day when they are young. My two will eat from the same bowl as my Jack Russell, they are that tame.
  19. I feed mine on beef mince and the ocassional woodpigeon so they dont develope a taste for bunny. Before you go pugging give them a very small meal so they are not tempted to kill and lay up. Not to much though or they will have a kip and you,ll spend the next hour or so with a spade.
  20. You want 2 really as they tire easy and will have a kip in the warren.Alternate between the two, dont feed them on bunny as they will kill and stay below.
  21. Had a phone call from Trust on Friday asking why I had,nt sent back the renewal form. I said about the NFU but would,nt tell them the NFU quote until they told me theirs. Amazingly Trust have now quoted £420 for £5mil P/L. When I told them the NFU quote and what it covered Trust could not compete. I think there is an air of desperation from Trust to try and secure some business. I think that when I call the NFU tomorrow I,ll try a bit of haggleing. The dosh would look far better in my pocket.
  22. You,ll understand alright. Where would you rather be on frosty Sunday morning, tucked up in bed with the missus or laying under a landy with a spanner in you,re hand just so you can go to work on Monday.......................Mmmmmmmmm...cant make my mind up......nice warm jugs or cold spanner.Hahaha.
  23. I could,nt agree more, but like Skyhuck says dont give up.I love climbing, and at 46 I find it easier than ever having picked up little tricks along the way. My problem is recovery,so I tend to climb every other day. This is me yesterday,I feel tired today but a nice tired if you know what I mean. It felt great to be working again after the christmas break,I never want to stop.
  24. Can interest you? I do a nice line in syrups. And as youre a Jap fan I,ll throw in free fitting. You,ll look fab.
