  1. Sometime today, I need some wood for indoors so I,ll be up the yard today.
  2. I have a Stihl 017 as a back up for my 200t or when I get golfers elbow. They are not built to last very long. It,s a false economy to spend £150 every six months. Occasional use only I,m afraid.
  3. Well I dont know what,s going on there then. The firm "Hire Station" in Gillingham still hire out saws. I get my oil and files from them, have done for years so they know me well and obviously know what I do. They would have said if they had stopped hiring out saws, and they still advertise them for hire. Where are you in Kent?
  4. Are you sure about that? Where abouts in Kent are you?
  5. Looks like youre chain is a bit tight mate, going by that bar.Try turning the bar as well.
  6. Hahaha,how slow am I ?
  7. I keep a British army issue sleeping bag on my boat. Can honestly say its the dogs.
  8. Or command maybe? {Mesterh, poorper} Hahaha.
  9. Quality, I thought that was a full brim hard hat in youre recent avatar, was,nt sure till now.
  10. Likewise and when its in full leaf it can sail away from obstacles.
  11. I dont want to put a downer on it but the truth is youre MS180 wont last very long. I,d spend £300 to £400 whether it be Husky or Stihl.
  12. One and three quarter ton. I put a question mark on my previous post for fear of annoying someone. But the truth is one and three quarter ton.
  13. I dont have the time to split and deliver due to plenty of work booked for Jan. I know its a shame in one way but I dont want to see this wood just sit there and rot. I,m hoping to sell it at £30 a transit load if collected.
  14. I have mountains of mixed wood for sale, all in handball type size. Ranging from 4yr seasoned to green as. Anyone near enough to make it pay? In a day or so I will post some pics.
  15. Putting aside the weight issue, I reckon you should have some greedy boards up or risk loosing some of youre load and at the same time cause an accident. Just an observation
  16. I,ve always thought a transit could carry one and three quarter ton?
  17. At 46 climbing is easier now than its ever been, the problem is the next day I feel dogged. As the years go by recovery time gets longer.
  18. Save a bit of that beef for youre handsome hound. Turkey for us this year, same as usual. Gotta stick with tradition. Yipeeeee its chrimbo!!
  19. Congratulations!
  20. Money does,nt grow on tree,s you,ve got to pick a pocket or two, you got to pick a pocket or two...............But in youre case it does.Any chance of a signed photo?
  21. Great programme, when is it gonna be our turn to get on the box. Weve had loads from the States, now it would be nice to see something homegrown. You never know perhaps one day we,ll see someone from here being followed by a camera crew.
  22. Just clocked it, thanks.
  23. I know its a bit over the top but I,m one of lifes worriers. I,m the same in what ever I do.
