  3. I,m 46 and can still climb as good if not better than most sprogs. The trouble is recovery, these days I,ll climb one day and ground work the next. Physical prime is around 27 to 33.
  4. That,s the John Merrick of tree,s.

  17. All the will in the world wont help you hump wood all day. It,s built over years of graft. If youre young enough you might build up to it.
  18. I often thought that on hot summer days over here. The simple answer is knock off at two, get stuck in, eat and drink on the hoof. Then plenty of time for hobbies and a beer or six...............Like most days I suppose....Ah! lifes a breeze:001_smile:
  19. Anyone that burns wood on a regular basis should have their chimney lined. No matter how long wood is seasoned for it still leaves resin in the chimney. The resin soaks into the brickwork and if a fire occurs it cant be put out, resulting in structural damage to the house. My chimney is lined with stainless steel and I still clean every two months or so depending on the type of wood I,m burning. Sometimes the first section of my six inch flue is chogged right up leaving a three inch hole. I know when it,s time to clean just by judging the fires performance. Also I season all my wood for two years whether it,s for me or customers.
  20. Youre body needs one gram of protein per pound of body weight per day........200lb body weight = 200grammes of protein. All this will be obtained with regular meals. I fell into the supplement trap for a while and now know what crap it is, expensive crap at that. Too much protein will ruin youre kidneys. I weight train 3 or 4 times a week, I have not taken supplements for years and notice no lack of strength.
  21. That,s dirt cheap, let him do it. I,d give him a good drink on top.

  24. Sorry Rainham Kent.
