  3. Very nice indeed thanks for taking the time to share
  4. If the grass is greener on the other side then start watering your own grass . Price and a good standard of work is key to the domestic market . Commercial it boils down to who you know the majority of the time . Just speaking from my own personal experience .
  5. Thanks for the advice
  6. Scrapyard ? a rad is a rad end of . Most rads will do as long as your prepared to knock some brackets up and sort out new hose's .Although make sure the replacement rad is as big if not a tad bigger .
  7. Cool pics and a nice thread lol:001_smile:
  8. White Noise

    which l200

We have an 04 crew cab and its great on fuel compared to our landy tipper . Comfortable and tows well and has given me no problems so far , Touch wood
  9. So thats two big lumps . Fair size that butt:biggrin: Looked like a cool job .
  10. Nice pic's Rich
  11. Cheers Rich the reason I ask is that my shoulders click and grind when using a normal width press up . I find a slightly wider stance stops this . Both my shoulders are wrecked anyway lol . Wider stance like you said seems to work the outer chest as would a dbell bench press .
  12. Rich would you class press ups harder if a wider position was adopted ? Glad to hear your mending well Mr Collins
  13. Nice job . Nice pics .
  14. Hickory handles are good . Worth a punt .
  15. Brill and thanks for posting .
  16. Well said . They,ve had there day IMO . I,m stopping them next time Only good for the OAP's and the thrifty .
  17. Has anybody on here fabricated a trailer mounted chipper that tips ? Something like the Bandit chip box combo ? I do seem to remember seeing one somewhere ?
  18. Thanks Hama It would of been such a shame if he had pushed for the felling .
  19. Sand him down prep and spray 4 me . Before and after pics please.
  20. ha ha ha full of chip = 30 mph and slower sometimes . Can get quite frightening on a roundabout
  21. Just looked at a job today in Cheshire . This was a private woodland of 4/5 acres . To my amazement nearly every other Birch tree had fungi growing on it ? I was asked to remove all trees with fungi on them ? I explained to the client that would mean a massive loss and the local wildlife would suffer . The reply I got was brilliant and we have agreed to make safe only the trees along the footpath and highway . This guy's really up for encouraging wildlife so I have put him in touch with a local primary school who's head is eco friendly . win win . Oh we saw two Jays while on site beautiful birds
  22. I hear ya although I could do without points on my license . Mind you when she's full of chip its like being on a boat
  23. Love my old bus and it also failed its MOT . Needed two little plates welding , Ball joint and the front shockers were knackered . Not bad for a 1986 110 tipper that gets abused on a daily basis . Having said that she does get regular oil changes and anything that needs doing to her gets done as soon as I can . Don't know how much chip she holds . I gauge it by the number of fingers I can get under the wheel arch . Two fingers from the top of the tyre to wheel arch and I'm full lol
  24. Tying off at top of a stick when dismantling . Descend on a single line . That's what my gri gri 1 is used for .
  25. I know a few who make a good living by just stumping . Although they have all done there time on the tools . So have made good contact's over many years before starting stumping . IMO you need a large grinder and a small grinder to cover all angles .
