  2. I have twice in two years and by a decent amount , and I only work within a 10 mile radius .
  3. I do this lots ..... Only as some new customers wont wait a week for work to be carried out let alone the standard 4/ 6 weeks
  4. Please someone help enlighten me on how to not upset a client /customer when they start there own pruning mission and think that its ok to add there cuttings to your lovely chip pile . I always seem to come across to strong ? Shouting check for wire ...bird feeders ...nests etc ... In reality I want to say stop taking the piss and fook off these machines are high maintenance ya twat .
  5. Our old 110 tipper had everything uprated and when near full it was just like a boat on choppy waters . I still loved her and owned her for over 10 yrs . We had to drive seriously slow on the way back to base . It was really twitchy sometimes and I can promise you we were sweating beads .
  6. Cheap ones are good especially when buried in the workshop floor and back filled with concrete .
  7. Multiplat use to love that stuff . Step up from three strand ..... : )
  8. It doesnt help if the trunks are slightly twisted or are under pressure . Multi stemmed Leylandii almost always hold crap in the voids .
  9. Probably posted in the wrong Zig Zag thread but hey . My Mk3 is beautiful I love it . Its helped my aging chubby walrus type body to keep earning coin . Although today a small branch got tangled within the working mechanism . An arse twitching 3ft drop woke me the fook up . Finished the job on a prussic . Stay safe people .

  11. So please correct me if im wrong...which I am on a regular basis . You swapped over gearboxes ... when you could of just replaced the worn clutch fork ? Glad you got it sorted though .
  12. Still being able to see my little todger at 47 .....when many of my friends struggle to see there feet : ) Im still a chubby chap though . Its hard graft on the tools and has its draw backs but heck if it werent for this job Id be on fat families ...... Also love getting up early to feed the dicky birds with a black strong coffee in hand .
  13. Well I tried my best but unfortunately the little runt maggy died . The other two are absolutely great and growing fast . Many thanks to all those who offered some great advice . Ive found it hard to keep there feeding rountine with working fulltime so have passed them over to Stapeley Grange a local wildlife centre located nr Nantwich Cheshire . A lovely lady named Wendy has taken a shine to them and is currently there carer . Birds to be realeased when old enough .

  15. So when removing a large conifer today I happened to knock out a Magpies nest . Absolutely gutted as I didnt see it .... We all know conifers are super dense . Anyhow Im now left with 3 greedy little mouths to feed and they aint shy . So with the help of Google & Friends ....... Im looking after them . It may not be right or proper but it sure beats handing them over to someone else ..... which Ive done in the past .

  17. We,ve made Gaskets many a time out of old car or truck inner tubes . Always worked well .

  20. I understand that some of you girls n boys are already aware of these spikes ? If not google them ? They look cool and also very workable .... Although a £3000 plus price tag ....Say what . Might have a go at fabricating some .
  21. We,ve had similar at our yard entrance . Although it was two fridge freezers . I simply put them on the grass verge told the council and they picked them up later that day . We now have Cctv which so far seems to have worked .
