  1. Hi there we actually used the landy just to get a bit of tension on the rope and used a few small wedges for the actual fell .
  2. Thanks for the comment Mr Bolam. Enjoy the rest of the week .
  3. Although this tree had features which could support bats ie cracks and flaking bark . The tree was in such a condition that the safety of the home owner and his grand children were at risk . After all work was carried out no evidence was found to suggest that bats were roosting . I thought this comment made by yourself was well founded but did not take kindly to the well placed exclamation mark at the end . I thought the punctuation mark has some what belittled your comment after all are we not all adults !! Sorry Mr Perfect
  4. This was a cracked Robinia tree which had to be felled with the help of the landy . Problems started when the customer asked if she could keep the remaining section as it was twin stemmed . I stated that it was leaning towards the property and full of large dead limbs , basically structurally weak . So she kept it and asked if I would remove it at the end of the year .Anyway 2 hours work and £ 160 later Im off home .Nice sweet little job .:001_smile:

  7. Thank you all who helped out. I really do appreciate it . Some real top advice and tips . Well as the chipper was down I decided to have the day off . I cleared it with customer and settled down to afternoon of problems or so I thought . We changed a lot of wiring and spade connectors , cleaned connections. We also used the compressor to blow away any water .All done and dusted still we could find nothing at fault . So with that we switched the chipper on and hey presto , we,re up and running .yeeeeehaaaaa:001_smile::001_smile:
