  1. Better cup holders . So I can have a larger coffee. Sounds like a plan . But like Frank said Those cup holders will cost me an extra few grand . A 55 reg transit how are they with the electrical gremlins . The one I ve seen has a tacho ? .

  8. I think finding an older one thats been looked after will be a problem .
  9. Have you fitted one of those padlocks to the outside of the crew cab door . I think the wire would slow down any would be chancers .
  10. A very valid point . The things we do to keep our kit safe is unreal . Somedays it take me 5/10 mins to get in my garage and Ive got the keys . Locks bolts barbed wire its crazy .

  12. This is what Id prefer v or w reg or older . The thing is if I had an older transit I would make a secure cage for the crew cab . Then again If I had a newer one I wouldnt want to start messing about with it . What do you think of roller shutter lockers ? .
  13. Hi all Im considering getting a Transit crew cab tipper . The reason is simple I am going to get a yard with hard standing . So I will be saying goodbye to my old water logged yard . I will be holding on to the landy for the time being .Just wanted to know what the new transits are like. The new crew cabs dont seem to be as secure as the old ones . There seems to be to much glass in them . Also can you work on them yourself or is there to much electrical stuff going on ? . Would you go for an old shape or a new model. My budget is around £5k for new shape or around £ 3k for older shape .
