  1. Are you saying I’ve got shit hair, retired before 30 due to injury, and laugh at all kinds of shite that isn’t actually funny? While you’re the bitter, taciturn, hardened old bastard that hates a lot of what football has become? Fair do’s I suppose. I’ve just done some quick maths on the label I ripped off a bottle of red, and I can live with 70/30.
  2. I would love it if you would step up Mick, love it! I could partner you and play the nice guy. We would split the £1.75m salary.
  3. It’s disgraceful. I think Lineker is a bit of a woke cock sometimes, but I 100% back his right to express his opinion. I usually disagree with it, but who cares? He is also a top notch tv football front man. I’m glad Wor Al and Wrighty have backed him as well. The BBC have achieved a football first here. They’re well offside and have scored an own goal. In my opinion, obviously.

  5. Decent load of oak this afternoon that we dropped 18 months ago. Farmer decided he didn’t want it after all.

  7. Ha! That will pay them back for the Battle of Hastings!
  8. It’s not so much the cycling that would bother me, more the drivers on the snowy roads. People like my wife, for example.
  9. What in God’s name would possess anyone to think cycling in snow was in any way a good idea?
  10. I thought all the Chinese were in Harrow?
  11. Dilz is on the continent mate, probably a bit far for Justin and his kit. You and Bob are right though, probably cheapest long term to just blast the site properly in one hit.
  12. Cue Alex dressed in tweed shifting his kit around in a horse box….
  13. Out of area, but @Spruce Pirate, @slack ma girdle and @IronMike all seem to have a good handle on this type of work.
  14. I would say tractor mounted stump grinder. That’s a lot of rootballs to lose if ripped out with a digger.
  15. These definitely should be. It’s important on flywheel chippers to pull the material in.
  16. Or loader, keeping vaguely on topic? We all know it’s bollocks, but I just think life would be easier if myself and the lads I work with all get one.
  17. One for Don today. Oak with a fair back lean slotted through some double gates. A bit of back weight off, raised, then wedged/GRCS’d over. Ringed and tidied by 3pm courtesy of 5t Kubota with Intermacato grab.
  18. That’s great info Clutchy, thank you.
  19. ‘Pass me a new groundie, I’ve broken this one.’
  20. I just hope it wasn’t Nate on the rope.
