  1. Bandanna Rob. God you are so out of touch!
  2. Probably rightly, but I won't do it!
  3. I see and a has been deleted from my post!
  4. Agree to disagree here mate. You can give a climber an early dart and a if you want. I won't.
  5. Can you get us 6 tickets?
  6. Ahhhhh. That's why you had to leave the country then....
  7. If a good climber doesn't hump timber and sweep up, he'll only work for me once. I think I'm pretty fair to work for, and I don't reward early finishes with 3 hours down the log yard. Job and knock, but it's a team effort. The two climbers I use most, Rich Rule and Ross Smith, are also two of the best groundies I have worked with. Pure graft all the way, because we all love the bit where we finish and get paid. VAT limit? Righto.
  8. Touche Paul! In some ways I'm gutted it's not at the Toon, but I'm also pleased not to be humiliated into buying tickets with 'Springsteen at the Sports Direct Arena' on them!
  9. Too right Rich! You'll be wanting £300/day too then?
  10. Indeed. You must be able to levitate Wayne. I would have been anchored just above the steps. The stone ones!
  11. Ha ha. He did mention that gig, said it was a tough one as most of the audience didn't understand some of the bigger words he uses in his songs, and it was hard to hear his set above the sounds of fighting and vomiting.

    The Boss

Just got tickets for Springsteen at The Stadium of Light next June. I'm chuffed because I missed seeing him at St. James' Park in 1985 on the 'Born in the USA' tour because I had two 'O' levels next day. Any other fans out there? (Rich Rule don't even go there, you stick to your skateboarding rap crap).
  13. Very averagely! Mild weather here and food all over the place means the birds are wandering off the shoots more than usual. Make make for a good back-end though.

    Mice!!

    Love you Barrington!

    Mice!!

Why would a rat trap be the best for catching a mouse? Would an 88 be the best choice for a light reduction?
  16. You are all a bunch of losers. I saw the light years ago and sorted my own pension scheme. £600 a year that baby will get me when I'm 60. Can't wait!
  17. 15 is very good mate. I've been slacking recently, we are benching on Tuesdays a bit now rather than Mondays, which pushes the press up challenge back to Friday, doesn't feel the same after end-of-week beers!
  18. Ditto. He wouldn't get another day either. Dick.
  19. I am jealous of these reductions, the skill level is clearly massive. BUT - I don't really see the point, and surely you must snap bits all the time getting out to the tips? Probably because I'm no good at them, I normally persuade people to leave their trees alone rather than lightly reduce. If pushed, I sub Rich Rule in. Rich's sympathetic ash reduction. My sympathetic pop reduction.
  20. Welcome to the madness mate! Nice to have a newbie who might know a thing or two on board.
  21. That was a big job, with Ross and Mani subbing, all pre-agreed.
  22. I honestly can't see the negatives if you've ok'd it with the customer at the quote stage? Dutchie had a great time today, the customers little lad took such a shine to her that they are thinking of getting one of their own (they have got a fair bit of ground). She did drop a banger on the lawn, which I bagged immediately. One thing worse than picking up dog crap - not picking up dog crap! 3 dogs is maybe a bit much sometimes though, especially at bait time!
  23. Good shout, but Martin may be more involved with studying them than a management programme? Ian Douglas down here started out shooting them, but I think these days he'd rather see them. They can root up some ground though!
