  1. Wait till you get your Mog Stefan....
  2. Pretty sure John, TimbercutterDartmoor on here has used the jack, but I'm not sure which one.
  3. They'll be in bother if they're caught then. Unsecured load will fetch them a substantial fine.
  4. It's pretty simple. Be really upfront about payment terms at quotation stage, not after the job. For domestic I want invoiced cash or bank transfer that day, no cheques (pensioners excepted). If they start pulling faces at this I'll probably not be working for them, God knows what they'll be like after the job if they're grizzling before it. Commercial is different, it's all negotiable though. Just be clear from the outset.
  5. Apparently yes. The dealer takes you into a secret back room that contains a massive cash counting machine and a magnifying glass.
  6. Missed this David! Funny how noone is disputing the criteria.
  7. Is the 130 still 4-mix? If so I'd avoid it. The 94 sounds pretty good.
  8. Hahahaha! You're halfway to becoming a Mog owner Stefan!
  9. Aye I think you're right Huck, but whatever the timber volume titchy logs are a ball-ache. People would probably still want to know 'Is it a ton?'.
  10. I'm not bothered mate, Huck doesn't read the stumpgrinding threads.
  11. Same. Big logs = big air gaps = less timber If your logs were sawdust size there would be no air gaps.
  12. To own a Mog? Loads of cash and a small penis.
  13. Aye it's some place. This butt might give the 660 a few problems, mind.
  14. The Bolam girls surrounded by a bit of colour at Wallington.
  15. I thought you were taking the proverbial John, I was getting mixed up with the TW 13/75!
  16. It appears not mate. Even with loads of Brylcreem.
  17. Why can't we say that? That's how any of us with any sense see it.
  18. They did before. Do you think they'd not be keen, like?
  19. We need what I would call positive immigration ie skilled grafters. I would also like to see positive emigration of workshy parasites of any ilk. They can go and smoke their Mayfairs and watch their full Sky packages in Somalia.
  20. My splitter head is set at 12", so all my logs are 12" or below. Some might be 4" long, you know how it is. Requests for a load of 6" logs result in the doubling of a load cost, which to me is simple maths and economics, but I haven't had much success with that. Well, none actually. I couldn't be less bothered.
  21. My KM56 has been faultless (hedgecutting and occasional polesaw use only), which is more than I can say for my 4-shitz KM130. Can't comment on the 94.
  22. Aye, all change in 4 years I reckon. Good for the game. That said, the big guns never seem to struggle for young talent. I seem to have lost that knack, but I blame the wife.
