I’ve got one. The saw is good, but the Sintung lopping head is awful. I bastardised a Bahco one to fit instead. Now got Jameson pole set, which gets far more use.

Direct Line have been good for me in the past but they bumped it up 50% this year so I went over to NFU. The price comparison sites were awful. -

Good thread Tom. I knew this because I’m a nerd, but how many don’t? It’s hardly well publicised is it? Like Dan (Monkeybusiness), I feel I can slip in on the exemption. I do deliver logs and chip, but they are mine! When I’ve tipped them off and been paid, they’re not, but I’m empty. Officer.

I am trying to move away from any boots connected to arb and the associated 300% price increase.

I’ve got Salewas, but don’t find them as comfy as the first couple of pairs I had. Need something with a toecap anyway.

A couple of mates and I have a WhatsApp group. My mate got it last night after the pub and I saw his first attempt this morning and couldn’t get it out of my head as we tend to try the same source words. So I basically had a 3 letter head start. A very hollow victory.

Fortunately Mick it’s not mine. My mate made the huge investment a few years back. It is a bit of a game changer on the right jobs. Not suitable for a casual groundie, the man on the bollard needs to know his stuff. @John Shutler and @Rich Rule have way more experience than me, but I doubt either would have negative comments. £3.5k now, a lot of Euros. There are £2k jobs we couldn’t have done without it though. AHHP is a convert as well, but I can’t tag him for some reason.
