  3. I don’t want your sympathy Doug, f off.
  4. πŸ˜‚ I know you’ve sent decent stuff offsite for milling before. No interest in logs? It’s not a real earner for me, but useful for filling gaps in the winter/foul weather.
  5. A rood is an ancient measure of land Stubs. He’s being ageist.
  6. Should have milled it all. Heathen.

  21. I love my Cast Worky Quad, amazing little machine. Not sure about the bigger stuff though. The 825 looks to have 1/4 tonne less lifting capacity than the Avant 600? I wouldn’t spend any money listening to people talking shite on here. It’s a big investment. I’d get a trial on all 3. You’ll know within an hour or two which is going to suit you best.
  22. Good point Paul, but my plant trailer has cobwebs on it since I got the ramps. Means I can get the chipper and loader on site in one hit. The time it saves there is always time to tip off and come back. Like JTH I have the luxury of usually working locally.
  23. Did pretty much exactly that yesterday with a euc Dan. 2 1/2’ butt. 3 of us. All brash dragged to the chipper and fired into the field, all cord loaded into a JCB bucket poked over the garden fence with the Worky Quad. Farm boys lost everything in a grain trailer. Ciders at 3. They are a real game changer on the right job. IMG_1317.mov
  24. Edit - you don’t need to take the tailgate off every time, that was just when I was fitting them. The ramps come with an HSS drill bit and 2 keeper pins for the bed.
