  1. Don’t plant monkey puzzles Jake, you can’t ‘maintain’ them as such.

  3. Took a second dump, drunk. Wordle 1,105 3/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. God knows what your 5&6 lines were! Mate did the same.

  6. Who came up with the figure of £2k rather than £2600?
  7. That hurt my brain. Came back to it about 12 times. Wordle 1,103 3/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 ⬜⬜🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  8. She’s heard about your t-shirt Mick, obviously.
  9. I was right about Gallagher. We perked up as soon as he was subbed for Mainoo. Improved with every sub after that. Still far from the finished article, but Safegate needs to realise if these lads are good enough they’re old enough. Foden was better tonight, but I thought Jude was pretty anonymous.
  10. They aren’t willing to pay me now they know it’s not theirs. I’m still trying to sort a solution, whoever does it.
  11. Result then. It’s not about me getting the work, I don’t always want or need it, but someone should do it if there is genuine risk. The most dangerous roadside tree in our village, a sessile oak that would fall into the road/onto a house (it’s a co-dom) was highlighted by a Highways inspection 3 years ago. I was asked to fell it by the Parish Council, but there was a note on the spreadsheet saying ‘ownership in dispute’. Further enquiries revealed it actually belongs to Highways, who won’t speak to me because I’m not a ‘preferred contractor’. Although it suits them when I’ve tidied up plenty of their shite in the past…. 3 years on the tree is still there. If it does fail badly someone will get their pants pulled down.
  12. He’s starting Gallagher ffs. There is something rotten going on here. If he ever starts Cole and Gordon it will probably be as extra centre backs.
  13. A good friend of mine was killed when a roadside tree fell onto a car he was travelling in, so it’s quite an emotive subject for me. People who don’t take responsibility for roadside trees they own get my back up to say the least. I don’t think it’s unprofessional in the slightest to point them in the right direction. You should re-read this thread from the top Jules, it’s nothing to do with sour grapes about losing one job. Tributes to 'adventurer' tree crash victim - BBC News WWW.BBC.CO.UK Saxon Bowes-Crick, who cut down trees for a living, died when one fell on the car he was travelling in.
  14. That’s not the point. Any cretin who prioritises a hedge trim over a dangerous tree (for the same price) is undeserving of any of what’s left of my professionalism.
  15. Jules, I’m talking about the second scenario where the tree is in imminent danger of falling into a busy road. The neighbours elm I would just give my opinion and move on.
  16. BOSH! Wordle 1,102 2/6 🟩⬜⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  17. This sums up what is wrong with modern life Jules. If a customer mentioned to me he was going to go into a school on a machine gun rampage do you think I shouldn’t report him? A tight-arsed prick like this one wouldn’t be my customer for long anyway, so it’s no great loss.

  19. Good advice. Cover yourself with an email. You could possibly inform Highways as well.
