    Spoken like a true desk jockey. Why do you think your opinion is more valid than that of current working climbers? Single rope working and top handled saws don’t kill people. Using them incorrectly does.

    This is what will really screw us up. Not so much coronavirus as such but the sheer amount of selfish thick twats walking about. The sort of people who will think it's absolutely fine for their little Johnny to still go on his school trip to northern Italy to take part in a coughing competition, then buy half of Tesco's on the way back from the airport.

    I wouldn't have entered into a contract where the client insisted on myself or my lads doing something that could make the job more dangerous in many situations, as discussed. Money isn't everything.

    Dilz I have found the Panther bar and fiddly little chain from Rob so good I would have paid him an extra £15 postage. Don’t tell him though. I did invest in the Stihl 2 in 1 sharpener because it really does work at keeping the minuscule chain cutting well. Pricey mind, but I’m worth it.

    Why should the RW be subject to LOLER? If it actually vapourised during use all that would happen is you would have to battle a bit of friction during descent.

    I generally think we have mate. I'm not saying we are necessarily doing everything right yet, but we are certainly taking steps. I've even stopped burning tyres. Unfortunately a lot of other countries just don't seem to care.
