  1. That’s not elder, it’s immigrants. I read it in The Guardian.
  2. Worth remembering that berries also have a habit of falling off the tree. It’s their job. Denying access to the trees completely would seem to be the only option, other than removal.
  3. Wordle 1,160 4/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟨🟨🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. You’ve got some balls. Must be nearly 9’ to the tips.
  5. Wordle 1,159 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. At least he’s not called Niamh.
  7. I’d avoid Vistaprint Jake. They are cheap, but they look cheap. You’re a pro offering a pro service, so it’s worth spending a few quid on pro business cards. It won’t be much money for a few hundred. I’ve got a mate in Northumberland who has a printing business, he does all my stuff. PM me if you want me to put you in touch. Can’t comment on the logo, but do you really need one? Your initial effort looks pretty sharp to me.
  8. Now we’re cookin’ Peds!
  9. Shut up. I need the work, alright?
  10. Access Denied WWW.GREENSBORO-NC.GOV
  11. Filling with concrete ‘works’ in that the cavity is filled, but it doesn’t do the tree any favours at all. Read some Shigo.
  12. Wordle 1,158 3/6 ⬜⬜🟨🟩⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  13. That’s the way, get 10 useless letters out of the way early doors.
  14. Anyone turning up with a 70cc saw for a course which is basically for beginners would set a few warning bells off for me.
  15. Phew! Wordle 1,157 6/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜🟨 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  16. I got the cheapo HLA56 and rate it. It’s very much a hedge TRIMMER, pointless trying to rag it through tough stuff, that’s what the HS82R is for. Battery life is excellent, the 2 it came with will do a day’s cutting. Vibes are excellent, my kombi was killing my hands. 0.5m extension poles are only £30. There’s a bit of an annoying ‘extra safety grip’ as well as the triggers, but nothing a cable tie won’t fettle. I killed my first head in a year by abusing it. You can’t buy a replacement head on it’s own, you have to buy the whole bare unit, which seems daft. You can’t run it as your only hedgecutter, but it’s a pretty capable tool.
  17. Same as Mick really. No mistakes, but dragged it out a bit. Wordle 1,156 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  18. It’s obvious to me Dave, and to literally every single other person I know. And, like you, I have a diverse mix of racial and religious mates. Why can’t we just crack on and do the obvious thing?
  19. I am being thick, or is the solution to immigration not pretty simple? If you enter illegally you will be deported instantly. Genuine asylum seekers, and immigrants who want to work will go through the system and be welcomed. Is that too ridiculous?
  20. I’ll be in touch with you beforehand Dan. Need to arrange something ahead of time because mobile signal is nonexistent there.
  21. I’ve done plenty after I’ve explained what the law actually is. You can cut domestic hedges 365 days a year if you aren’t disturbing birds nests. They will need doing at some point Mick, so might get a glut in autumn. Hedgecutting is pretty unenjoyable anyway, without taking off a load of extra regrowth, and having to charge more.
  22. Google are at it again, every month since May now. I logged in this morning and this was the lead on Google’s homepage. It’s mainly badly informed and incorrect BS. I’ve talked to several of my regular hedge customers this year who haven’t got us in because of it. It’s not helping.
