  1. You go and work for someone else until you know what you’re doing.
  2. I think loading on 2m ramps might be a bit sketchy. I was thinking 3’s to load onto a Transit bed. Good stuff though Dilz, thanks for the input.
  3. As above, but with non-bio. Tie the rope in an electricians braid first to avoid tangles.
  4. That’s a pretty good shout actually. Think of the millions of Kw that are generated by people exercising every year.
  5. Let’s get back on track please gents.
  6. I was going to say mate, don’t climb on that!
  7. I’m useless AB+, great at taking, bad at giving!
  8. Cheers Don. I’m aware of the limitations of going for a small machine, but as many have said any loader is better than no loader. I’ve rived 100kg lumps into the back of the Tranny on my own before, but look back now and think ‘What the feck was I playing at?’. Popped guts, £5k’s worth of surgery and looking like 2 months off, I should have engaged my brain a bit earlier. 250kg lift doesn’t sound that much, until you handball 250kg!
  9. The more talk the better mate! And pics! I’ll have a look at both Mick, I can see pros and cons for each. I doubt I’ll ever want to run a flail from such a small machine, and we’re covered on the grinder front with Vons Predator.
  10. Cheers Dave. I’m leaning towards the WQ rather than the Microbull because I’d prefer wheels over tracks and there is a dealer 7 miles away. The MB attachments look great, and are certainly keenly priced. I suppose it’s too much to ask for them to be compatible? More vids would be great.
  11. Cheers Will. Whilst the idea of sitting on my arse all day holds a LOT of appeal, I was looking to go narrower than that.
  12. I’m crunching some numbers to finally finance a mini loader, Worky Quad or similar. Obviously there are a staggering array of attachments. I’ll probably just start off with a couple, and am after advice on what would be the best choice initially. I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to a Klou log grab (free rotation), a grapple bucket, and pallet forks. Pretty much 100% arb work, mainly domestic, but certainly interested in subbing to landscapers/fencers/builders in the future. Any input appreciated.
  13. Helmet stickers are great. I’m shortly bringing one to the market that says ‘MUMMY AND DADDY PAID FOR MY CHIPPER’.
  14. Slight derail Ben but did those trackside connies ever get done?
  15. If you’re still stuck mate drop me a PM. I’m still out of action after the hernia op, so could package and post mine up to you for a week or two if you need it. Which bar did it come with? The Techlite ones are utter shite and best in the bin anyway. The X-Force that Skyland supplied mine with has been brilliant.
  16. Wise words. You’ll only do it once though…. I would pay good money to see a vid of Joe’s catch.
  17. Can you try a different bar on it Gimlet?
  18. Don’t rely on any container. You need layers, then more layers. Then probably more. Sadly, I totally disagree with Vedhogger about insurance. That’s your only bulletproof layer (read the small print).
  19. You’ll have to explain that one to me Tommy!
  20. You’re getting a right kicking here Gimlet! Did you turn the saw off before removing the cover?
  21. Of course Khriss. It’s important to be historically accurate in these matters.
  22. Much further afield. Mel Gibson is from Australia.
