  2. If you look carefully you can see where it was weakened by the wounds from your spikes.

  4. Jeremy knows his stuff alright, but was also very annoyed that the Duke of Wellington cedar at Kingston Lacy was removed. You can’t have it both ways.
  5. Damn Yanks. Wordle 1,473 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. I’ve got various tick tools, but prefer the snare type that Rich mentioned. It’s also important to disinfect the site immediately after removal. Another good point Rich makes is to destroy the evil little bastards as soon as you’ve removed it! I pulled one off my old dog once, took my eye off the ball, and it disappeared onto the lawn. I was gutted.

  11. The etiquette on here is only to β€˜like’ 3’s or less, but I’m prepared to make the odd exception.
  12. I think the industry is just fairly slow at the minute, especially domestically, which won’t be helping you. It will pick up, it always does. You’ve just come across really well on here, and I think someone flexible and only after a few days a week should be very attractive to the right company. Good luck with it mate.

  20. Quite lucky, but all other vowels eliminated after line 2, so had to be a combo of 3 consonants to start, and I already had one of them. Just sheer hungover genius really.

  22. That’s spot on Stubby. I wouldn’t cut if there were live nests, even pigeons or corvids (equally protected), but sometimes it’s just so obvious there are no nests you can just crack on. A lot of customers seem very confused by it, the amount of bullshit out there is unreal. Can’t stop, I’m off to renew my oak tree cutting licence.

    dogs!

It can be a pain, but I reckon I’ve won a fair few jobs by palling up with their dog when I’m quoting. Like Mick I’m always in my scruffs anyway. Anyone who expects me to look smart is only going to be disappointed down the line anyway.
