  1. Wow cracks appearing after so little use is a bit worrying.
  2. Mine hasn't and i have never bent one!
  3. How do you know? Have you owned one for any length of time? And i don't mean a knackered old entec!
  4. I agree also but it's down to what does the job and money,if said machine cost 500 quid more because it had a better axel people would winge as it cost more than the next machine, they all have to be competitive at the end of the day.
  5. I don't dig I grind. I never dig stumps out.
  6. I heard a hire firm in Scotland sent more than one back as they were shaking themselves to bits! Not sure if it's true.
  7. There we have it from a manufacturer, am not sure where people are getting the copy thing from? It is not a copy, yes there are design ques taken from jensen and the same engine but the infeed, rollers and quite a bit more is totally different.
  8. Do you not find it hard to find drivers that can tow or drive above 3.5t?
  9. Nice paul are they 3.5t iveco? Do you get the chip boxes done locally or make em yourself?
  10. Good job there paul! Are all premiers truck yellow and how's the forst going?
  11. 12x6ft conifers I could have down, ground and re planted in half a day!
  12. The best way I have found is to errrrr count them:thumbup: all mine are already split into 1m3 bags.
  13. I don't think it really matters on make, chipper axels are pretty much loaded to the max all the time so a smack off a pot hole will do some damage,I would always opt for a hd axel if it was available, I do agree with the comet above about owners driving and slowing down,I see some chippers almost bouncing down the road.
  14. No problem with mine but I would say it's down to pot holes not speed humps, pot holes do an awful lot of damage.
  15. Good old skool saw,I had a perfectly good example until I ran it over with a tracked jensen chipper, didn't seem to work properly after that!
  16. Never had a tranny mark but also run a relay. Here goes. Pros Strong chassis Strong 3lt engine Good engine access with tilt cab Pull well with low gearing Built as a 5t but down plated for UK. Amazing turning circle Looks like a truck not a van Can tow 3.5t Cons Rough ride compared to a van Low geared so not fast Bit thirsty Parts are expensive but parts are generally much bigger than a van Bouncy when empty Seats and plastic are a bit naf Basic compared to a van Notch gearbox that is layed out different to anything else Agricultural compared to a van
  17. I run a 2008 nkr with 55k on the clock, bloody good truck and easy to work on with the tilt cab, been v reliable and isuzu engines are strong, ride quality is crap compared to a van but turning circle is amazing,as a working truck there bloody good.
  18. Please fit it in Steve, I can bring the wife as a target.
  19. Sorry to hear that but it might be better to take the tools out of your truck in future!
