    Aspen cans

Hand pump josh, cast me 15 quid and fills a combi can in 30 seconds. I then use the drum as a fire bin or scrap bin and weigh it in.
  2. Had my 540 coming up 2 yrs with no problems, never used a 201 so can't comment on them but I do like the husky.

I buy in 205lt drums and get free delivery of fr jones so yes it does work out cheaper and for me far more convenient than having loads of plastic cans around the place, I wouldn't get away in household waste either.
  4. Haha yeah reg would Deffo point you in the right direction! To be honest mate I would just buy the pukka one, saves a lot of time and effort for not a big saving.
  5. The first thing you need to change is human nature and the blame culture! If a council gets sued for say a pedestrian tripping over a raised flag and injuring themselves it's often cheaper by far to get rid of the problem before something happened.
  6. I built one a couple of months ago out od 1.5inch box section and 1mm steel sheet, not at all heavy but strong and relitivly cheap and won't rot like ply does.
  7. I have just got the bandit equivalent for my carlton 4012 for a lot less than another plant dealer!
  8. Nice kit jonny, my Leyland 384 would probably do the same! Is that Yorkshire twigs?

Really? I ran a 192 a while back and it was far from gutless.
  11. Haha I'm only tight 7 days a week eggs!
  12. They do it aswell Gary, yeah there both really good guys.
  13. I'm a greaser! Little and often on anything with a nipple.
  14. Yes thanks paul, has been a v informative day, nice too meet Garry and Kev Stephenson. Be in touch in due course paul.
  15. So still pretty much the same then without a D in DDD lol
  16. So have 5 day notice gone aswell, if it was DDD what do you do now then?
  17. Oh yes it's still a 6 week notice alright, unless it's DDD then a 5 day notice.
  18. Your pretty much right exempt in a conservation area it's not an application it's a notice of intended works, the only way a TO can stop said notification is to put a TPO on said tree, if he doesn't thinks it's worth a tpo the owners can do as they please.
  19. But the community won't be happy at paying 5 or 6 hundred quid if all 3 say the same will they? Are they all incompetent / bent etc etc.
  20. For every report the council gets done there is a cost, so it's highly unlikely it will commission 3 reports on a tree at 300 quid a go! When you go to the dentist and they say you need a filling do you pay 3 times just to make sure ????
  21. A qualified tree surgeon who has a qualification in arboriculture or who can back up his findings is more than capable of doing basic tree surveys and reports, I might be wrong and he has nothing but if the council asked him to do a report I would take it as he's suitable for the job.
