I also have a tracked jensen ant that is a great machine,be a hard call between the two but I reckon the jensen will be dearer due to the exchange rate, certainly my local jenny dealer is about 2k more than a forst!
  5. I pay 800 a year for my accountant to do the end of year stuff and about 100 a month for a book keeper (part of same firm) this Inc pay roll and vat submittions, this price also Inc an online invoice package that they have access to, money well spent imo.

Just bought my second forst, great machines and fantastic back up from Redwood.
  7. Who is running a puma landy? U got a 110 puma about 2 months ago and it's night and day from my memories of 90 and 110 of old and the puma goes v well (for a landy) but wondered what milage the engine is good for? A few landy people have said it's not as strong as a 300tdi/td5 just wondered on others thoughts.
  8. Or just buy a tipper, life is too short for that sh1t!
  9. It's not just the health benefits, the machines start and run better and last longer, human nature is funny, we all insist on buying pro saws etc then try run em in the cheapest fuel possible! I changed over in January and by being a bit stricter on leaving thing running it is actually costing me very little more, or just add an extra 25 quid on a job a week. I wouldn't go back to petrol, my 2 guys love the stuff as well.
  10. I would do exactly the same. No customer's come to my yard. Also if your letting customers to your yard check the small print on you insurance, I did and I'm not covered for theft if I have customers visiting me!
  11. And what does the "licence "do exactly? Just another money making council bullchit scam.
  12. Doesn't supprised me to be honest Steve, skip firms need a licence to put a skip on the road.
  13. I thought about listing the wife but then realised I ain't luck enough to get her nicked!
  14. When we have a quite moment Steve I will get one of the lads to list all the numbers and i will get everything listed on arbsafe, yes it's a pain but having been turned over a few times ( jonny Walker spotted my chipper on line after it was stolen ) I know the gut wrenching feeling. Once done I will send a donation for the service.
  15. I agree with Gary, serves them right for mullering the roots, what the hell did they expect?
  16. Cool john, a bare kit in defenders is about 250 quid so not bad value really.
  17. Good to hear peter, you use them much? Did you get yours as a set already in the helmets ? Just wondering how hard it would be to buy the bare kit and mount them myself as I have loads of helmets.
  18. Fair point, I wonder if they have been tested on wet wether though,am sure they have but be good to hear any comments.
  19. I wonder how they will fair on a wet day with the main control bit mounted on the side? Are they water proof???
  20. I use the stein ones john pretty good and yes they do make communication so much easier, don't use them a lot but they have there place. How much are the Bluetooth ones john or shouldn't I ask.
