  5. Just been to the doctors to report back and register properly with them..got weighed measured,and blood tested etc. All good:) Looks like the Final Chapter will be a good one! From tommorow morning i am fully booked for the forseable future and if the college ever need me i 'm sure i can fit that in too. What to do on my final day of freedom? Watch this of course:cool:

  11. You hit the nail on the head Arran. Make a fun experience out of it. Comp/work climbs are competitive but at the same time don't pressurise people who are just there to gain experience...It all builds confidence.Speed or Balls doesn't necessarily make a great climber....CONFIDENCE DOES!
  12. I can see a lot of people interested in using a tracked crane now...save on rigging and blocking in tight spaces etc...

  15. Just below the cottage overlooking are a quarry are a row of Yew trees...about 20 years ago they were reduced to bushy stumps...after about two decades of very slow growth and regular clipping they now stand angular and dramatic.
  16. All is well in my world. I have my own climbing work booked in, struck a deal for Special Branch tree services and I feel I have made my first steps towards teaching...so in order to reflect I took myself off to Fox Cottage for the day.

  21. You should give yourself a mighty pat on the back (or get someone to do it for you) you are progressing quickly! I have seen a few tree hippos by the way. Size has no bearing on tree climbing.
