  17. whats your budget? do you need a tipper or a 4x4 or a 4x4 tipper, its endless mate as it depends on workload but a budget narrows it down. Welcome to the forum
  18. mine too, but it just seems like the work of the devil when you have been use to the sound of a 2 stroke for twenty odd years
  19. cutting a chunk off a hung up tree whilst still on the rootplate, tree jumped off the cut and took the saw with it slaming it into the ground.
  20. Zoro was felling trees
  21. tom, ive had a 4 mix hedgecutter for a while and its been fine, but for some reason i still dont trust it.
  22. cheers for the replies. interesting about the echo i thought the hedge cutter would work with the extention that would have been handy, i know the hedgecutter head works on the stihl but can damage the shaft if you cut through bigger bits. im thinking the stihl ticks the boxes, pity it has the 4 mix..........so it could be the echo:lol:
  23. I am in the market for one and have narrowed it down to these 2 so your opinions please : 1)Stihl HT131 telescopic 2)ECHO PPT265ES Telescopic Now i have mostly stihl gear so i am tempted by that model BUT i am not too keen on the 4 mix engines as my hedge cutter is one and it feels and sounds strange. Echo products i have used in the past have been fine, the pros for it are a 2 stroke engine has a longer reach (if i purchase the extension) and you can also get the hedgecutter attachments. A post from someone who has used both these products in anger would be great, but no doubt it will derail into the legality of red diesel or an overloaded transit
  24. I would say she is right
  25. Easy lift guy, what is the benefits of yours over this one? GTM Professional Elephants Trunk Harness - NH-ELEPHANTS-TRUNK just curious as they look very similar and i have tried both at the apf and they both felt very much the same
