  1. turfor and some strops will do it,ive pulled apple trees out with mine. just done a leylandi hedge no probs had some root 3 inch thick. also use a ripper blade on a disc cutter to cut any large roots that wont pull out.

  7. thats what i thought ,grease is cheeper than bearings
  8. drilled and tapped the front panel behind drive pully for grease nipple where the bearing seal sits and pop out the seal.on the rears short length of tube (new piece of exhaust pipe }with cap welded on drilled and tapped for grease nipple and remove seals from bearings, i used angled grease nipples on mine and you can grease with the roller cover on :thumbup:side cover off to grease behind pully.all work done with machine in bits tho, will see how much differance this makes :thumbup:gotta be better than std.will have to get the mrs to take pics next time shes about but pretty stright forward.
  9. not long changed my bearings on mine,and at the same time did a mod so now mine are greasable

  13. got a 056 waiting parts total re build,a 051 awaiting s/h parts to come up ,looking for ex,ex shroud,and a 076 awaiting parts total rebuild.oh and one of my 254xp brake bands gone .so the bench is getting busy.also had a hose burst on my chipper fri then the same on the log splitter sat covering the back window in oil :001_rolleyes:cant wait for monday
  14. was given a 051 exactly the same prob :thumbup:just need some parts for it now as been robbed as they thought it was a scrapper.ok for nowt tho

  16. you have to drop the xmember off if my memery serves me right,
  17. flat roofs ok, but i fibreglass mine,pitched too. as for nail gun forget it ,crap fixings imho, unless ribbed nails,screws every time stronger and easier to get apart again if needed.
