  1. are you on about the plastic cover held on with 2 screws?
  2. had that(labrinthitus) driving to work horrable,took me ages to get home had to keep stopping to throw up and could only do about 5mph. pulled over and had to get my bro to pick me up in the end .dr out and had to sit in a dark room with sun glasses on for 3 days .not nice.
  3. for chainsaw boots ??? and can they be fitted to older boots when replacing soles ?
  4. replace with a timesert :thumbup:think snap on do one for plugs
  5. think there are 2 types,up to 1994 and 94 on the later coil fits more saws according to stihl cat,what years your saw ?
  6. gota link ?would be interested ,as you say might be a better option when little meat around hole,been using wurth timeserts,they crimp in the hole using the last couple of threads so cant wind out.
  7. l and s engineers do after market exhausts not sure on inlet manifold tho,give them a bell

  9. i wouldnt use helicoils your better off with timeserts bit dearer but worth every penny
  10. only problem here is you can legaly buy a stolen saw from police auctions as i have done in the past, serial numbers ground off,they cant find the owners so get put in auctions and sold stolen recovered with reciept and vat
  11. could you not put a small o ring on the stud before refitting through the oil tank,as when the bar is tightened should seal around the stud hole on inside
  12. stihl oil every time never had any trouble with it and my fuel comes from tesco
  13. go down the army surplus store and get a forces net washing bag 2 quid ish,work a treat and no daisychaining
