  1. Stephen Croucher Williams Driving School Or phone him on 07786578581
  2. Just off out now to do some training. When I get in I'll sort it.
  3. Yes it would.
  4. Yes you can have the multi job discount but its applied to the second / third job not the first.
  5. The nose weight limits on your cars spec, the tow ball, the tow bar, the trailer hitch should never be exceeded. The lowest one wins. You measure it either with a nose weight scale or some bathroom scales & a bit of wood. The hitch must be at the height it would be if actually connected. You can judge it quite well by lifting the hitch by hand if your good at judging the weight of things you pick up. Cant lift it then its over 100kg, two hands needed 40+kg ect. You should always have some positive weight on the hitch. Yes the loading is critical. Heavy in the middle & low down. Balance the trailer to get the right nose weight by placing the bulky but lighter items as needed. Never ever have a tail heavy trailer its deadly.
  6. You car can weigh up to 2140kg The front axle can have up to 1090kg on it The rear axle can have up to 1070kg on it The combined axle limits = 2160kg so just 20 kg more than the car can be max. So when loading it (inc the nose weight) you only have up to 20kg that can float front to rear & still be within the axle limits. So you could load up the car to an all up weight of say 2100kg but have overloaded one of the axles & still get done for an overloaded vehicle as you have to much weight on one of the axles.
  7. So 1500kg max. That includes the trailer, spare wheel, corner steadies, covers, extra sides, tail gates ect. The weight on the trailer plate will be for the basic equipment it comes with as standard. Your front / rear axle weights dont have much room for maneuver, just 20kg variance between fully loaded & the two axles added up. You also need a B+E to tow the 1500kg plated trailer even if empty. In fact any trailer plated over 1360kg needs a B+E.
  8. Yep
  9. Will the amount of oil going into a ram reduce the flow that much? I bet it wont hold 1L in total & it will only get added slowly over the cutting time. Say reducing the flow by sub 0.5L/min. I would power it down & up via a user controlled level to adjust cut speed to suit.
  10. Why do you think you have different weights re single or double axle?
  11. The council planning people the inspector my consultant or the barrister?
  12. Repairs dont need SVA. I would think that if its in cwt then its quite old. If it has no plate they look at the tyre ratings & add them all up & thats its max weight unless another marked part is lower. You could have weight limits via tyres suspension hitch or the makers plate.
  13. ^^^^This
  14. £40 for two people & fuel? Not sure I would want to charge so little.
  15. Take a look on eBay. Load doing it already.
  16. What about a claw back in the contract? Its done a lot with land in case the new owners gets full planning.
  17. Cheers. They can add a covenant to the deeds.
  18. Yes you are right, however the council applied the law wrong & used the 4 year rule against me even though it was a new build straight to residential use. The planning inspector gave them multiple chances to use the 10 year rule but they did not. In the end they had to produce a document saying that they would not hold him accountable for it (we had to drop the CLUD application) & that win or loose they would not then try to go after us using the other rule & that win or loose they would not enforce on the use of the building. IE at the 4 year point we could win to keep the building but have no lawful use of it. So the building would stay but we could not use it for anything. They (the council) insisted that residential was always 4 years even for new build when its only 4 years for a conversion. So if you want to beat the 10 year rule build a building & use it for one day as something else then convert it in to residential. Crazy but true. The whole first day of the 3 day inquiry was taken up by that legal argument & about 2 hours of the last day.
  19. You just brightened my day  The planning inspector ripped them a new A hole in his findings. They were totally incompetent. I wish we had gone for costs but the barrister advised not too. If anyone needs a planning consultant (North Wales based) or barrister (Office in Manchester but will handle cases all over) then I can highly recommend the ones I used. Not sure if I can post details or not so PM me if you need their details.
  20. It is that easy, well apart from getting away with it for 10 years. We only just managed the 4 years we needed. Re your first point, even hobby forestry counts so what you heard was wrong.
  21. Thats interesting. It is only illegal to park on the footpath in London. No other councils have taken the steps needed. I think they are blowing smoke up your ass. Just dont do any damage to the verge. One of our first steps was to apply for an agricultural / forestry entrance way.
  22. Its a mine field. I was very glad that I could go straight to it being a building.
  23. Yes it was designed to come within the caravan regs so is 15m x 6m (wall to wall as the overhangs dont count) with an internal floor to ceiling finish height of less than 10 foot. The two section thing only really applies if it is brought onto site. If you build it onsite it can be in one bit (or so I am lead to believe). The harder bit is to prove it can be moved in one section once assembled. Till you watch mighty movers & they move complete brick houses. However that was the back up plan in case they enforced early in the end we went for the full building status when it came to it as they enforced after the time limits. We are well outside the NP thankfully.
