  1. lol...poor bunny.
  2. yeah, you really need to be living in the right place and be able to give a husky alot of excercise.. Living in the middle of town with no decent walks for miles around is a nightmare, thankfully we have lived here in the sticks since storm was 8months old so he's had the best of it...those first 6 months or so in town were hard work. Here he is doing a spot of swimming, under duress.. [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=SVuHp6N6zNE[/ame] ..and here he is digging a massive hole, eventually he managed to evict a family of mice... 3. once or twice a day mate....4 or 5 miles a time though, and he's off the lead the whole time, he never stops running about. If he had to be kept on the lead you could walk him 4 times a day and he still wouldn't be tired.
  4. excellent redwood td phenom...went like clockwork by the looks of it.
  5. lee evans = greatest stand-up alive:001_cool:
  6. husky wins easily... [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gSZE7jZ3q6Q[/ame]
  7. sounds like a candidate for the "habitat pile"

whats your best price on a butterfly 2, a 45m blaze and a 3m grillon..????..any deals for internet friends?
  10. brilliant pics guys... :laugh1: I'd like to offer up a more apt label for mike's alaskan though...looks more like a leatherface
  11. loose the ply and use some box section mild steel, it's lighter than you think, fill in the gaps with zintec sheet metal, very light and very strong...ally is frikkin expensive for what it is.
  12. I know a guy in defford who will build you a box...he did ours, very light and very strong...box section and zintec sheet
  13. If theres no other option/access for mewp etc..then yes. Quickest safest way to allow for the fell, drop the side stems off and pull it over. How much room is there..??..how did you do it..??
  14. omg...single TIP:ohmy:
  15. awesome...as said, you are going to the top mate, no doubt. will come and say hi at the apf show.
  16. theres a very similar looking elm not from my house..promise to go get some pics sometime...
  17. that picture is great , well spotted!
  18. thats nice, I have some cool stilts that would come in handy there...just the right height.. We haven't done it yet, not sure when it's booked in for but it will be sometime in september, I can get the details off you when I drop off that saw, I have it here now.
  19. I'd say it was a damn sight more than an hours work, theres a 50ft drag through a garage to contend with as well, how bigs the garage..?.. If the ladder is 16 ft then there is 14-16ft of tree to top out, looks about 6 or 7 stems...bit of snedding out, drag the 50ft navigating through the garage of unknown size...the one near the path may as well be felled unless they want a dead stump sat on the outside of their newly financed hedge.. conifer jobs = unknown quantity = price accordingly...imho:001_cool:
  20. fell the one by the path and reduce remaining trees to hedge height...220+vat
  21. we don't mate no, but the customer did mention something of that last year...they are both doctor's so I am surprised they haven't mentioned it before tbh. ..and thanks steve...the curves do add character..100%
  22. lol...I don't think there is a straight edge on the whole thing tbh..
  23. 10 yrs is a long time, could take 4yrs+ to get it back to anything like. We first started this particular hedge about 6yrs ago and it had been left for about 3yrs unclipped...even that took a few years to get it back to a nice tight surface all over. It's pretty good now though, that stretch takes me about 4hrs on my own which is how I prefer it tbh, the others crack on with all the other hedges around the grounds and stay out of my way...
  24. it does me as well mate, but I am a bit partial to looking back at what I've done at the end of the day, whatever it is...and at least this looks nice rather than a 400ft long blank wall of conifer...
  25. I meant compact as in nicely put together, not small..sorry..lol looks smart.
