  1. a very light reduction there mate...good job.
  2. phones gone a little quiet these last few weeks but nothing to worry about I don't think. Most of our work just lately is BIG stuff...garden jobs have dried up a bit so we are doing lots of big deadwood's and fell's. Just need a bit more work to take us up to christmas and then we have our annual 2 weeks christmas holiday.. how's your climber doing?
  3. perfect. Nice one john.
  4. some good positioning from kieran...great pic.!
  5. if you can bring it up to worcestershire I can have one custom made for for it. Failing that, find a good fabricator in your area and throw him some pound notes.
  6. yes please, you are the nearest trader to us, it would be very nice to see a wider range of products in your catalogue. Ascenders, biners, etc
  7. few years ago we bought one as a backup...still have it today and it has never let us down, it's not used daily though, sometimes not even weekly, but always starts and runs and has just enough power for the length of bar. You cannot beat the 200 for shear reliability, but the echo has a place for the money they cost.
  8. It was cold this morning, on my way up the ladders at 8am and my hands were like blocks of ice.. Nice job John, most of your threads you stack all the cordwood in nice neat piles, almost like you are leaving it on site...do you not have a drop ? or does the authority work allow for habitat/free firewood piles..??
  9. epic.! how often do you reckon you lowered the saw down for a re-fill?
  10. we have had a ford ranger for about 4 yrs now, if mpg is important, don't get one. They are fine on b-roads etc...but tow anything or get it on the motorway and it drinks like a fish, always have done. Disco diesel is alot better.
  11. oh dear....tea making duties for a fortnight methinks...lol
  12. haven't Jonesie's got the green tachyon??
  13. bit like this then... [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_nX-0razvbY[/ame]
  14. nice pics John....you have some great kit and get some really cool jobs, love to get the chance to work with you one day.
  15. nice pics rupe...will get over to see you this coming week sometime.
  16. nice pics TW, nice to see some pleasure shots rather than just work shots..unfortunately yesterday I spent 6hrs dismantling 6 large conifers...very tired today:sad: whats in the backpack..??..lunch..??
  17. some cracking pics there mate, full marks for the photographer.....and climber of course..
  18. Thats just lazy... nice pics.
  19. about 125 we think...takes me about 45mins to get up there...good workout:001_smile:
  20. excellent pic...top marks:001_cool:
  21. absolutely. She is the nicest old dear you could ever wish to meet, always asks after your family, makes tea and jam on toast before we start, makes lunch etc etc...You wouldn't earn a good living doing it everyday, but it doesn't hurt once in a while, plus the added bonus of climbing the welly's..
  22. deadwood, climbing inspection..we do the 2 on the end every year, except last year when we did 5 of them. Little old lady has us cut her hedges every year and "check" the 2 nearest her house for her, we don't charge her much as she is beavering away in the kitchen all day making all sorts of wondrous edible treats for us...Nice to sit up there and have a ciggy and watch the world go by for 15mins or so, great view.
  23. Had to sign a confidentiality agreement thingy when we worked for someone very famous once....a daughter of one of the beatles...fashion designer. Can't say anymore as I'm still under oath..
  24. some really nice pics there, it makes a difference when the bloke behind the camera knows what he's doing..lol Like the "zoom out" idea, heres my effort. Not very often you get the chance to sit on top of a welly.
  25. great pics John...don't get much more hollow than that..lol love your kit:001_tt1:
