  1. This is a tough one. What are people's thoughts? I feel it's the right thing to do, though it makes me uneasy. Assisted dying bill: This is about shortening death, not ending life, says MP proposing assisted dying bill WWW.BBC.CO.UK The proposed law would allow terminally ill adults in England and Wales to end their own life - but opponents say it could...

  5. That looks good. Does the process actually need much heat I wonder? Traditionally it would've been done outside in the air, so maybe 40 degrees max. I don't have an air fryer, but I do have a dehydrator, goes up about 60Β° I think.
  6. Thought so. Phew, I'm clean then. Very sensible point Gareth. Woe betide anyone with six or whatever it is Though I think lifestyle choices and consumption patterns matter more than the number of offspring.
  7. Exactly what my mum said. Savoy I reckon.
  8. 'Zero kids and even if I were it would be a zero sum ie 1-2." What's that bit about?
  9. Anyone interested in River Basins? I wasn't particularly, until I saw these rather cool pictures.

  11. Where's these pictures then? I've been looking forward to drooling over them all day. I'm inspired to give it a go as there's an air dryer up in the loft that barely ever gets used.
  12. My offering this evening. Bolognese or Ragu type of thing. Don't shoot me for using Quorn rather than real mince!
  13. Nice. I saw on some TV programme once that Chilli was traditionally made with chunks rather than mince.
  14. That looks like a serious bit of kit. Love the eBay description.
  15. Bloody hell, steal. What was the deal, out of date?
  16. Been in that shop again this afternoon. Another random selection from the 100s on display. Based largely on price, lowest.

    Jokes???

  19. Hang on, hang on. That's a bit unfair on good old Birmingham. It's a fine place to live. It's multiculturalism at its finest. The array of food available is utterly comprehensive. I think you're right about mass migration/immigration though, no one can stop it in this day and age, and it'll be getting much more in future. Big walls won't stop it.

  21. Trust you to have a niche epicurean allergy!
  22. That's the crux of the matter alright. Can't see The Duck or Elon buying into it though.
  23. 18 months I've just been reliably informed. They're easy enough to get, with a prescription, but the problem is more finding somewhere that will dispose of the old ones apparently.
  24. A bit like the old fashioned High Striker, or Strongman game that you get at some fairs and shows. Doesn't matter how hard you hit it, the blow has to be flat and central to get a decent score.
  25. I've nailed a block of wood, end grain ideally, to the top of a post before, so I could wack it in with a sledge. That worked well, no post damage. Obviously only if you're not doing bulk posting though.
