  2. Sprouts. Love them or hate the? Me, I love them. Recently been frying them up with some chorizo and then adding cooked chestnuts and a good dash of balsamic at the end. Other ideas?
  3. This didn't get much attention at the time. It should have. Even a lot of the domestic MAGA don't like it. I'd be interested to know if any of our UK MAGA think it's a good idea. Anyone? Anyone hiding at the back there? Unregulated AI doesn't seem like a wise move to me at all. We're starting to see problems with it on here already. 4. Thank you AB. I can see you've got some venerable old pollards there. Very nice. This one is particularly eye catching - I can't offer any advice on how best to bring them back into service I'm afraid. No experience. I'd guess it would have to be a gradual process though, to minimise shock.
  5. Wordle 1,647 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Well that was unexpected.
  6. I'm confused; is that an input, or an output from the Dempsey Song Writing Machine?
  7. I'm liking that idea a lot.

  9. Experts warn AI is making your brain work less WWW.BBC.CO.UK Generative AI tools have become hugely popular but some experts worry about the effect they have on the brain.

  11. It's that annoying old Safety Elf getting involved again. I can't say I've noticed the taste improving if using the same glass, but I share your frustration, at the sheer waste of having a new glass each pint. It depends on which pub and which bar staff you ask in my experience; some are more amenable than others to reuse.

  16. Wordle 1,644 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Fckin ell. Not sure how I got that. Partly the topicality, partly the tip offs that it was an unusual word.

  18. I did the Coke thing the first couple of times I cooked a ham. It's okay, but I prefer to use cider now. Plus some good strong spices. I used to do a honey and mustard glaze thing as well, but can't be bothered with the extra faff these days. It tastes nice enough with the cider and spice anyway.

    Jokes???

  21. Did it taste any different?
  22. Intriguing. Elaborate if you will?
  23. Don't knock it until you've tried it. Like potato but firmer and slightly more flavour.
  24. Similar, but fluffier? I'd guess the stakes would be starting to rot by 5 years, but wouldn't be needed at that stage anyway.
