  4. Nah, I remember that story too. Though not the details. Whatever it was it'll sadly just be a small sawtooth of an uptick in an overall downward trend.
  5. Wordle 1,516 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟩⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Well, bloody hell, wasn't expecting that. My favourite.
  6. Result. Migrant promoting Channel crossing on TikTok has account removed WWW.BBC.CO.UK The man filmed himself making the voyage and later live streamed a question-and-answer session on the platform.

    Jokes???

Half of the humour was on the t-shirts I thought. Just seen a bloke wearing this slogan -
  8. Looks like a Constable painting.
  9. Bolognese made with Turkey mince. We've got a glut of Basil, hence the heavy garnish. Turkey is underrated and under used I think. Having slices of dry old breast meat just once a year is silly. The thigh is much better and versatile; minced or diced it's a good substitute for pork or beef.

  12. Meanwhile, in other news, stuff is turning white. It turns out that bad news is not always about stuff turning black. Worst coral bleaching on record for Western Australian reefs WWW.BBC.CO.UK Scientists say the damage was caused by the "longest, largest and most intense" marine heatwave on record.
  13. Leeks. They're nice just fried up with some cabbage, like onions but sweeter. Even nicer with some lardons or pancetta added as well.
  14. Wordle 1,506 5/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. Does anyone know of any traditional uses of Eucalyptus timber, that reflected it's great strength? Thinking about Elm being used for cartwheel naves, hubs, etc. I'm guessing not as there was no technological civilisation in Australia until Britain took over.
  16. I don't know what all the fuss is about. Would you look at that? Boom! Wordle 1,505 2/6 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  17. In a similar fashion to Trumps antics across the pond. Trump to scrap landmark finding that regulates carbon emissions WWW.BBC.CO.UK Experts warn the move will severely curb the federal government's ability to combat climate change.
  18. I know of a man who would know exactly how much Net Zero is costing us.
  19. Wordle 1,504 6/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟨🟨🟩 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟩 ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Just in the nick of time.
  20. Is it The Plough? Or Orion's Belt maybe? 🤔
  21. I'm going leave it a year or so and then start selling stuff that hasn't been enshittified with AI. I'll be laughing all the way to the bank as it'll be a niche market by then. Just imagine the the novelty of being able to trust something that's been written or spoken.
  22. Apps are old school mate, it's all about finding an AI Tool to do everything for you now. It doesn't seem like many in any of those groups knows how to feed themselves. Just look at the ubiquitous UPF/junk "food" that we're surrounded by. Or the flocks of Deliverpoo riders feeding people poo 24/7. Crazy world when you step back and look at it.
