  1. Great diving beetle - bad news if you are a tadpole!
  2. Can I borrow your dog?!…
  3. The spikes would be lethal if treading on anything timber/climbing ladders etc when folded closed though!
  4. Be closer to 15 if he has his wallet with him!
  5. You won’t need full chat - I cut through my boot and sock just behind the side of the toecap of a pair of Haix with the saw on overrun and it would have kept going (the boot didn’t stop the chain) if I hadn’t been particularly lucky. Chainsaw boots only have blocking material in the tongue/down the front centre of the boot it transpires!
  6. I’m surrounded by animals, have 3 dogs (that I prefer to humans tbh), have just finished lambing (where I’ve gone in ‘dry’ bare handed without any hesitation as required). I have 2 kids and many nieces and nephews and have plenty of history and no issues whatsoever with nappies/cleaning babies etc. I would not ever grab a dog turd with a bare hand. Couldn’t do it. Maybe if it was a life-and-death situation but otherwise no****************ingwayget****************ed****************off. Dog shit is minging, and needs some sort of barrier between it and me!!!
  7. The ones closer to the camera are all even further away though. Would the timber grab on the multione not pick up and drag the butts of those logs? Or pallet forks and lift/push. Genuine question.
  8. Mint truck, mint driver. Could you have made his life easier and reduced your stress levels by Multioneing the butts closer to where he was going to load though?
  9. Pretty much the first lesson I learned!!!
  10. I spent my formative years covered from head to toe in cow shit and it never made me (or anyone else I know) ill in any way tbh.
  11. Yeah, I need to give it a quick once over really, just CBA!!!
  12. I’ve got an old Husqvarna lawn tractor with a very good 21hp Kawasaki engine - I’m trying to work out if the engines have any value as it’s just sitting in the way and needs moving on. It has a decent deck (removed but complete) but no grass box. The transmission is a bit weak imo, it works and doesn’t make any horrible noises but doesn’t seem to have as much ‘go’ in it as I’d expect.
  13. Rubber tracks only stretch when the internal steel cords are broken (and the tracks are subsequently goosed). Tracks coming off regularly are either too loose or idler bearings have failed.
  14. What work are you doing to get £2500ish per day every day for a 2 man team out of interest?
  15. Your saw will be fine - if you are worried just chuck a tank of fuel through it chopping up some other timber afterwards.
  16. He must have copied me then - we originally did it about 18 years ago!
  17. I’ve used these in the past to zip line big rings down - drill two holes on opposite sides of the stem and wind these in to clip krabs into.
  18. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 - this post needs moving to the Jokes thread…
  19. I worked for Honda in a previous life when the S2000 was launched and did a few events at Millbrook - it’s an amazing place to thrash around!
  20. In my opinion at 4m away you will be fine to just dig a trench. Willows are incredibly resilient, and you are far enough away that you are highly unlikely to destabilise the tree. From the pics it looks like at that distance you are digging in the roadway anyway, so you aren’t going to be disturbing anything important root-wise. Biggest issue will be making sure the pipes are laid correctly as any weeping joints etc will be a magnet for roots in the future…
  21. Farkinell - has it stretched your arms longer too?! Beast of a bike!
