  5. Good work Stevie. Looks like a lovely day for it mate.
  6. Welcome to the site. If you go on the NPTC site, you can download a prerequisite list. It'll tell you all the equipment needed. With regard to buying gear, Use the search option at the right of the control bar and have a look at previous threads. It really is personal preference. Get in the kit and have a go to see what you like and get on with as things often look good on the page but you might not get on with them when you come to use them, Once you've found something you like, Give Jonsie a ring and he'll be able to sort it out for you. Good luck mate. Tom
  7. I think it's my mate's stag do that weekend but I'll see if I can make it up on one of the days.

  13. Yeah, but how often does it need feeding?
  14. Mine tried to get me to turn right up a one way street. I ignored it and turned left. It recalcutates and says "in 300 yards, turn left" I go a bit further and it says again "in 300 yards turn left". The evil little thing managed to send me back to the original one way junction and then tells me to turn right again. I'm amazed I didn't throw it out the window there and then.
  15. Speed comes with experience. It's more important to be able to do the job when you're up there. No-one will pay you just to climb to the top of tree really really fast IMO.
  16. I get bloody weight loss pills!!!!!

  18. But still more expensive than a knot:blushing:
  19. Just buy a small Mallon. Only £5 tops.
