  2. We obviously went to the same school of housework mate!!! I need arbtalk on to hoover, tidy up, do anything.....
  3. I'm with you now mate!! I wasn't sure and thought that there was something I was missing!! haha!! I've not done a great deal of milling and normally just get impatient and rush it!!
  4. Maybe I'm being thick here, But once you've put the first cut in using a ladder, you don't need to put another on it, You just got off the previous one. Or am I missing the point?
  5. Is this the one? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7Vv-BWhbUg]YouTube - ITCC 2008 Beddes Work Climb[/ame]
  6. Its Ocean Polyester for the hitch cord. Main line Edelrid something or other!! haha!! The Fishermans isn't a problem, I know that its recomended that you don't use one with the Hitch climber, but it's me that's using it,so as long as I check it, and don't expect anyone else to, its not a problem IMO. Works well for me!!
  7. I wouldn't throw it with the crab still on, easier to get stuck IMO. If I'm understanding you correctly, orientate the crab on the hitchclimber so you have the crab constantly at the top, Then when you need to unclip, leave the crab on the HC and just throw the rope. Hope that made sense!!! (In other words, The exact opposite of this picture!!! :blushing:haha!!)
  8. Yeah, Go on then, You obviously need the practice!!:001_tt2: Some cracking shots!!! Keep em' coming mate!!!
  9. Comes with both mate. You'll be fine!!!
  10. Have a look at Jonesie's page (FR Jones and Son) One of the site sponsors. He'll sort you out.
  11. Not pretty but gets the job done!!! And a bit of oak hopefully that is going to be a coffee table!!
  12. Whenever I've milled anything, I've just got a few little bits of metal long enough to reach over the rungs of the ladder. Drill two holes in them and whack a load in, a few rungs apart and off you go. You just need a few long screws. Cheap as chips. I'm sure I've got some rubbish pictures somewhere!!!
  13. I have a Technique!!! hahaha!!! ECBS The Bowen Technique
  14. Congratulations mate.
  15. Ha ha!! "Your trees are done Madam, but your tarmac is in an awful state, so it is, We can fix it while we're here, not a problem, we'll do you a good price!!" Never had a go at tarmac, Looks pretty good though mate. Makes a nice change!!!
  16. Just turned on the Sky Sports News. They're playing "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" by Morissey over the Tannoy!! There are fans there looking like they're gonna cry!!! haha!!!
  17. Doesn't mean that I'll stop using the VT though....
  18. Has anyone seen the link on Sherril's website? Apparently VT isn't recommended for life support. Discuss... SherrillTree | Tree Gear. Tree People. Professional Tree Care
