  3. Hi James, I may be able to help out with the odd day to give you an idea of what it's like..work is a bit shy at the moment but give us your number and I can let you know when I need an extra pair of hands. I'm only in Ardingly by the way!!
  4. Looks good mate.. What's the spring set up on the front like compared to the 3.5? Mine sits way to low at the front and was thinking about beefing it up
  5. It's been coming soon for a couple of months now!..guess I'm just impatient
  6. Just wondering if I've missed their launch...I was under the impression they should both be out by now:confused1: does anyone have any info?
  7. Some people get all the luck..typical

  13. Hi all, I am in the market for a petrol engined log splitter..just wondering if these splitters are any good? Its really just a side line for me as most of my income is from tree surgery..so for this reason i did not want to spend to much money. I welcome your thoughts.
  14. I maybe to far away for you, but i am selling my massey 565 with loader for £3800. if your interested?
  15. No visa for Norway as is in EU. work can be quite seasonal, mainly section felling. will pm you details
  16. hi Steve, i am in Norway at the moment working! i could have a wrd with the guys if your interested
  17. We had one for years (on a farm) 2wd, B reg. Never had a problem with the old girl! Good old tractor IMO:thumbup:
  18. Have used the diamond disc from saturn for a couple of years now. Works a treat!..it now goes out with the stump grinder on every job along with a small generator to power the angle grinder. Keeping the grinder sharp at all times means less wear and tear on the stumpie ie: belts wearing out. wouldn't be without it:thumbup:
  19. Protector Extreme are far too heavy and chunky imo, lasted me about a year....then the front of the soles came apart. I guess it depends if your climbing or ground work. Better for ground work i think! I now have Protector light...better for climbing imo.....much lighter and not yet any issues with them.
  20. Have used both....and still use the twisted shank far more comfortable than even the ally ones! but as John says make sure you get the metal wrapround ones.
  21. How does it campare in price to the equilivent stihl? Your slowly convincing me!!
  22. It looks quite similar to a icicle hitch which is what i use to climb.
  23. They are re-set buttons mate. When you stop the rollers with the bar you have to press either button to engage the rollers again. If you are having problems give charles a ring 07967 263503, he is a mobile chipper engineer and would be pleased to help.
  24. Thanks very much for the advice and all the others for your feedback. Again this forum has come up trumps and steered me into the right direction. It sounds like i could of made avery costly mistake by going with them.
