  1. Mines been great, only problem I've had is the 4wd sensors went (wouldn't go into 4wd) Got water into them! Had the kit retrofitted to stop it happening again. I am thinking about selling it as I need to purchase a bigger truck...haven't made my mind up yet?!?
  2. A very good friend of mine got cleaned out last night of all chainsaws, hedge trimmers and a mower! From a garage adjoining his house. The vehicles were parked in front of the garage but the scum went in from next door and gained access via the rear garden. Just a heads up really guys keep your guard up!
  3. Just going by what my husqvarna dealer said! Don't think I will take the chance on anything else, these company's will do anything to get out of a claim. Although every other bit of equipment I have is Stihl and run all that on HP, bit of a pita really.
  4. Yep auto tune one! When it's running it's great!!
  5. Nope been using husky xp oil as recommend by the dealer other wise will invalidate the warranty!
  6. Got a 560 in May this year....few weeks ago just started randomly cutting out on tickover. Took it back to my dealers, they plugged it in, yep new carb! They were great & had it done the following day for me. To be honest I have lost my faith in it...& I really wished I got a 362 instead. Had one before I got broken into, very reliable!
  7. As others have said start at the top and work down. Imagine yourself in a giant dome, as your working down from the top bring the cuts further out and remember to keep it rounded and not square...obviously this all depends on suitable growth points.
  8. We have dismantled a couple of 65ft ash trees which were dead. Customer now has too much wood elsewhere on the property. She's asked me if anyone might be interested in making an offer for it? Ideally needs to be gone by next week. Pm me if interested and I will forward her details.
  9. Ally bashlins with the Velcro tops for me...very comfy. Had my distels stolen which were ok but not as good as the bashlins. The twisted shank ones are also good with the metal shin pad...bit heavy but comfy for ringing out, don't think they sell the metal pads anymore
  10. Yea be good to catch up. Forgot about it till Sax mentioned it during the week. And I'll be free of wife & kids....which makes a change. 😉
  11. Might pop up this afternoon! Shame Fr Jones is not there.
  12. Can someone tell me why there are so many toolboxes made of aluminium tread plate? Look....it's just my opinion but I think it looks a bit tacky...and wasn't it designed to be walked upon for gripping, hence "tread plate" Or am I missing something?
  13. Yea had it for a couple of years....or maybe longer. Don't think I could exchange now😕
  14. Well hopefully the web suppliers on this forum are reading this thread. I know I would be up for buying one. Obviously need a lot more interest for it to be viable for them. Anyone else interested??
  15. Yea they do look a good bit of kit! Be handy if one of the suppliers on here could import a load???
  16. Fair play fella....mine may very well be a duff one but I'm paying another £150 to find out.
  17. You obviously don't work hard enough to sweat when your working! Or don't work in the lashing rain 😜
  18. I really don't understand what all the fuss is about with the "cut n climb" jacket! I got one about a couple of years ago and to be honest I got just as wet (in a torrential downpour) as any other jacket I have owned in the past. I find it very hot when your working hard same as any other jacket. All this clap trap about wicking sweat away from your body...really!! How the hell can it escape when the outside of the jacket is soaking wet. Also don't like the over head thing, when I want a break I want to get it off fast, which is much easier with a full zip. Anyway I have passed on my cut n climb on to a chap I work with & I am much happier with my berghaus. So guys really have a think before you spend all that money.
  19. Far too heavy & chunky for me...feels like your wearing concrete on your feet! Great for spiking, good support & very waterproof more so than the airstream. I will be sticking with the airstream although I don't think they'll last as long as the zematts.
  20. I used to have one! Make sure you haven't over greased the nipple on the flywheel bearing... I found the grease seemed to find its way onto the belts for the rollers causing them to slip!! Worth checking
  21. Has anyone got any experience with this product? http://www.compoundsecurity.co.uk/assets/files/products/Mobeye-Container--Banner.jpg
  22. Hi Hodge, Where did you get the re-map & how much was it? If you don't mind me asking.
  23. Yes it was from Tony at Southern vehicle bodies. He's only about 6 miles from me so quite handy really. I reckon 9 years is pretty good considering the abuse they generally get.
  24. Been on the vehicle for about 3 years and all good so far...no dents or busted bits!
