  1. Loosers, they need one of these. Its being run with the small arm on at the mo because the buildings coming down aren't very tall. When required, a 30m arm goes on.
  2. to see all the vids go to his web page. I'm 2 episodes in and i can strongly recommend you sit down at a time when you have nothing to do in the immediate future with some beer and snacks and watch as much as you possibly can without falling off your chair. THIS STUFF IS DYNAMITE!!
  3. OMG! my neighbours must think i'm mad i cant stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Gotta start somewhere, i reckon a fair amount of the blame for that situation has to go to the guy "in charge". Either the climber doesn't know what he's doing, in which case his banksman hasn't seen or recognised his slinging issues which led to the problem , or the climber is rubbish. Either way, not sure i'd be posting it on the www especialy with that many company t's on display.
  5. What a loser! You'd be better of looking at the clip titled "crane failure". I'd post it myself and all but i haven't got the time right now( no, its not because i don't know how! really.)
  6. Ladder, spikes and two saws? How greedy!
  7. Can we get some more pics of the chick?
  8. Nice cones, what are they for?
  9. On the other side of the forum theres no work and on this side theres a fella getiin' a back, sack and crack! Bit posh isnt it?!
  10. OHHHHH, stevie B! Thats a comment and a half!
  11. Jobs a good un'!
  12. Might have had to move the caravan to a different county.
  13. If your in this industry for the long run then i think its a good experience to have under your belt, career wise. It was my, intention to try and cover as many aspects as possible, railways, powerline, LA, private, freelance, home, abroad and contracting. I think that type of work teaches you a sort of bruteish, getting on, attitude that will see you good later in your career. I must admit though, i didn't care much for it as work, a little dull for my liking. IMHO.
  14. Yep, i thought "want" right up until the end when i saw how big the unit was! Thats gonna cost $$$$$. When does santa come round again?
  15. Saw that loads on the east coast, usa, very strange if you ask me.
  16. I kinda figured you might have something...a little bigger? Very nice all the same though.
  17. And why is it, when they book you in for a specific date and time and you turn up and the garden is full of either A) plant pots, swings, trampolines or kids toys or B) Doggie doo. One of my employers couldn't stand the sight and smell of dog mess, it used to make wretch. Funny as you like...
  18. " your dead meat sucka!" Thats what i normaly whisper to em.
  19. The only reason i ask, and i'm sure many others here are the same, no end of times i'd be taking a tree down in tight spot and the team would be together suggesting ideas and we'd always say "dang, i wish i had a heliopter and i'd do it in one from the floor and lose the whole tree in another part of the county".
  20. Whats the lift capacity on a helicopter these days?
  21. I used to get asked if i was any good at rock climbing. Plus, clients would always say on the phone " its huge, can you deal with it?" You'd turn up and its like 50ft.
  22. Is that it? Is this thread finished? Am i too late?
  23. Dang! now thats thinking outside of the box.
  24. Big dog

    sweet fa

I completely agree, but if your cheaper climber is slower, is he not also losing you money? Bit of a double edged sword i think.
  25. Yes, theres a couple of those presenters i'd really like to give a good telling...
