  1. To be fair, in his first post on the forum he says he is a landscape gardener. I've seen qualified tree surgeons do worse than that.
  2. I have a 51 plate Iveco 75e17. I had a quote of £3500 about three months ago, so been saving up my pennies!
  3. Have any 7.5t owners been down the road of having a particulate filter fitted to comply with the London low emission zone coming into effect in Jan 2012 for older trucks?
  4. Were you searching for choccie to find this thread from a year and a half ago? Lol
  5. Ordered pair of front and rears from Maverick 4x4 for £184 all in. Cheapest I could find online. Happy with that
  6. It's gotta be done then. Cheers mate.
  7. Cheers Tom Have you got terrafirma springs as well?
  8. Looking to replace my shocks as getting worn out. Looking to you other 130 owners for recommendations. There is no lift on the landy, just standard springs and helpers inside (on the rear) Cheers....Al
  9. Atleast you drive by twice though:001_tt2:
  10. Cheers Jon. Are you in the Mendip area then? Used to live in Bridgwater back in my teens, and worked for Durston Woodlands in late 80,s Al
  11. Hi Matt Like your Landy! Noticed your reg is almost same as mine - mine is 810 TCK. What rims do you have your BF's on? Here's my 130 Landy so far....
  12. Is there a link on here somewhere to the Arborist Directory like there is for the Firewood one, as can't seem to see one? Cheers...Al
  13. Nice one Tony I'm doing mine in a couple I'd weeks - any tips? Are you supposed to take all the books with you, or just some if them? Cheers....Al
  14. Looks like I'll be a bit lonely on this course then....
  15. And it will be CE marked, strength tested, LOLER tested and approved as well? I would just buy one ready made...
  16. Ok guys. I was given the address this morning. The owners had been served a notice to cut the tree back to the boundary line and were panicking! Looked it up on street view, and all it is a bit of epicormic growth hanging over the pavement. The grounds maintenance company that called me are attending to it. Cheers...Al
  17. One of my commercial clients has an enquiry in Hackney, but it's just too far for me. If anyone works in that area let me know and I'll pass on your details. Cheers...Al
  18. Anyone tried the Stihl Raintec jacket - any good?
  19. Been looking on the app store for a 'clinometer' app for the iPhone, and as most have to be paid for, thought I would ask if anyone has found a good one that works? Cheers....Al
  20. Thanks for suggestions all. Prices were too high for this job, as customer already had a quote to remove the tree that was less than the cost of the crane hire. For info crane hire quotes were £1500 - £2000 for the day. Cheers...Al
  21. Evening All, I am booked on the PTI course run by Land Skills Training in Dorking on 14-16th Sept. Anyone on here going on this course? Cheers...Al
  22. I already did that! See the thread I started 'anyone tried one of these'. This one needs to be a proper crane, too far for those little ones.
