  6. Is it the wires to the ignition switch or to the clutch switch that have come off? Any photos?
  7. I did it through Land Skills training in Dorking. Cost was £425 for three days, with the assessment on the third day in the afternoon. Google Professional Tree Inspection to see all the requirements etc. Cheers...Al

  9. Cheers David. Course was excellent. I haven't really done any 'studying' since Merrist Wood in 88-91 , so served as a good refresher, as well as going into the body language of trees in more detail - fascinating stuff:thumbup1: Al.

  12. Call Sean Matthews on 07767 806338 He had a large hiab and based in Deepcut area. Used him a few times to pick up trunks, and section them down using his hiab as a crane!

  17. I read somewhere that the gore tex jackets can be revived by normal washing and then low heat tumble drying. Not tried it myself yet though, but worth a shot.

  20. All depends what the local competition is charging. If you've been doing this a fair few years, then you will know what your fixed and variable overheads are by now, add a % on for profit and that's your rate. Simples.
  21. It would have to be registered post Oct 2006 and they are megabucks Having a filter fitted to mine is the cheapest option at the moment.
  22. Any free tips in Surrey? They all seem to he in other parts of the country so far. lol
